issue with pec plugin and epsxe on win xp (pro/corp)

have an issue with the pec plugin via epsxe using windoze xp (pro/corp) with built in sp2 (media centre 2k5 edition)

I keep getting the infamous xp error/crash splash screen ea. time i try to select the pec plugin thru/via epsxe

Now, i now that there's no probs with epsxe win my version of xp, and no prob's loading/running pec

So i think the issue is with the plugin

any help is greatly apprec.

Did you try running epsxe with Administrator's right ?

there's only me on this computer and one user account (mine) and i have all rights accessing files etc on this computer

Sorry I can't helped after all.I only have that similar problem when I was using Vista and forgot to stop the stupid UAC control

After using Epsxe 1.7 I think maybe DEP in Windows has caused this.Try make an exception for epsxe in DEP
