edit - maybe it's just me, but if you're trying to play the video in firefox and it won't play you have to use internet explorer - not sure what's up with that

Here's another Narutimate Accel 2 video, but recorded with fraps(and sound)

PCSX2 0.9.4, GSDX 0.1.7, ZeroSPU 0.4.4
E6750 core 2 duo 2.8ghz, 2gigs of ram, 8800GTS 512mb
Frame limit, Pixel 3.0, Texture filtering, Real time, pretty much all high settings

60 FPS almost always in battle mode, will dip to 55 in some more intense parts
Cutscenes play from anywhere to 35-45 fps, they used to play at 23-25ish until I installed XP service pack 3.. gave a pretty big boost

One of the speedier parts in the game. I wasn't really planning on putting this video here but perhaps there's at least some1 interested seeing how silly fast this game can run on a highend computer. And it's pretty nice demonstration at how far PCSX2 has evolved and computer hardware has evolved since the early PCSX2 builds. Tidus, ya got a rocket up your *ss or something?

I've wondered if I should run vids unlimited or not and decided to run in unlimited mode as it's more useful for other users to estimate what kinda speeds the games would run like on their system. And thanks to the new FastCapPro software I can record videos with only 3~5% slowdown and at any kinds of FPS as well as it doesn't work like with FRAPS where PCSX2 speed will be limited to the recording speed set in the app and in this case I was recording at 60 FPS speed but PCSX2 run in unlimited mode as fast as the system was capable of. Highly recommending this app! The non pro version should be free I think.

Victorious Boxers 2/Hajime No Ippo 2: Victorious Road (JAP)

These are videos I made of the game called Victorious Boxers 2/Hajime No Ippo 2: Victorious Road, only released in Japan. This isn't "Victorious Boxers 2: Fighting Spirit" that was released in the US, which is actually the third Victorious Boxers game for the PS2.

This game has a nice career mode where you can create your boxer in any weight division and manage his diet and training. Of course, these things will affect your weight, so you have to watch everything that you do! You can also suffer injuries like swollen or broken jaws, facial damage and such.

In the career mode (boxer's road), you have to earn your boxing license by passing a pro test. You then fight on a national level until you earn your right to challenge boxers in the international level, and then the world, like WBA, WBC, WBO.

Settings Are:
PCSX2 - 0.9.5
ZeroGS - No checks on boxes, Interlace and Bilinear are off, No anti-aliasing.
CPU - Everything has a check, frame limiter is normal (I limit it to 60 during national anthems to keep the music from becoming too fast).
Speed Hacks - all 3 boxes have checks.

My Machine:
Intel Core 2 Duo at 3.2Ghz (originally 2.6)
Ati Radeon 2600 XT
2 Gigs Ram

==================================================

Episode 1: Battle for The Spotlight!!!
0-Pro Test
After failing an audition as a commercial model, Adeno Sine was thrown into the batch of "important reserved resources" in the entertainment business, or simply put, extras in movies whose sole duty is to populate a scene. As if fortune smiled upon him, Adeno was chosen to be part of a reality show called "Victorious Road", where people from all walks of life are put in a line of job where the winner is the one who makes the most progress.

This season, Victorious Road dealt about the sport of boxing. There were 16 male "contestants" (who actually failed modelling auditions just like Adeno) who were be trained by one of boxing's most veteran coaches, Frederick Berr. The contestants went through various boxing training and exercises. At the end of the training saga of the show, the top two contestants must face each other in a Pro Test.

Adeno Sine and John Cosgrove were at the top of the training period and so they must face each other. Will Adeno get a chance to be the one under the limelight or will his career be washed away into the sidelines?

Episode 2: Position and Fire!!!
1-Adeno VS Barhorst
After impressively passing his pro test with a knockout, Adeno Sine becomes the star of the Victorious Road reality show. The coach is a little worried about Adeno's sudden gain of self confidence because he tends to let his guard down to do a taunt when this happens. Coach Frederick sermons Adeno for the duration of the training until his next fight and reminds him that this time, he'll be fighting real boxers and not movie extras.

Due to the schedule of the show, they only had 2 weeks of training for Adeno before he faces Barhorst, a boxer chosen by the "reality show" due to his low threat level. The coach crams information to Adeno's head about how to do a proper 1-2 combination and how to find his range and position. Will Adeno be able to handle a real boxer?

Episode 3: Power of The Counter Punch!!!
2 - Adeno VS Hofsdal
Adeno's win was just according to the Victorious Road's producer's plan. Adeno's wins were pulling more and more viewers each showing. Some people were criticizing the show for feeding Adeno easy opponents, but the usual answer they give to the media is that Adeno's still a 4-Round boxer.

Meanwhile, coach Frederick tries to improve Adeno's 1-2 combination as well as his position and range development. The next opponent, Hofsdal, shouldn't pose a threat at all against the coach's strategy, which is to counter punch for a knockout.

Episode 4: Impossible Condition! Don't Get Hit!!!
3-Adeno VS Abukasis
Viewers continue on complaining about the opponents that the Victorious Road show choose for Adeno Sine. Fearing that they might lose the fan base, the show promises them that this will be Adeno's last battle as a 4-Round boxer. They told them that if Adeno wins the fight against Abukasis, he will then move to the IBF and battle the second ranked boxer named Capablanca.

Coach Frederick hears about the decision of the show and protests that it isn't fair for Adeno to be pressured this much, but his complaints fall into deaf ears as the producer starts to rant about the show's ratings and other entertainment business lingo. With his back driven to a wall, the coach tells Adeno that if he can't win his next fight convincingly, he should quit the show for his own good. Adeno tells the coach that if he gets hit once by Abukasis or if he fails to knock him out, then he will, but if he succeeds, then the coach must help him train to wherever the show will push him.

Can Adeno create a performance that would stun the coach and the audience?

Episode 5: This is No Joke! Challenge of a Legendary Demon!!!
4-Adeno VS Capablanca
Adeno never got hit in his last battle against Abukasis and he knocked him out fast, and the coach finally accepts that Adeno actually has natural gift for boxing. As promised to the viewers, the Victorious Road show will let Adeno fight IBF Rank #2, Capablanca, his first real challenge.

In a sports interview, Ricardo Martinez, the reigning WBA Champion and a living undefeated boxing legend, was asked about what he thought of the whole Victorious Road show detailing the training and the battles of a contestant. He answers by saying it's all staged, and if they really want to prove that their show is "reality", then Adeno must work his way up and fight him in the ring.

The Victorious Road show's credibility is being challenged by the world champion, but backing down is never in the producer's vocabulary. He calls for the media to interview Adeno about what Martinez said. In the interview about his reaction to what Martinez said, Adeno answers that he will make Martinez wish it was really all fake because he's going to knock him out of his throne after he takes the IBF Championship title.

With such strong words, will Adeno even be able to get past Capablanca, a veteran boxer?

Episode 6: Burning Heart! Champion VS Challenger!!!
5-Adeno VS Juteau
After a troublesome win against Capablanca, Adeno learns the difference between 4-Rounders and the Pros. With this realization, he asks his coach Frederick to teach him how to counter punch better as well as finding range and position. They begin training once again to do some changes with his fighting style.

The next fight is for the IBF Championship title. Almost nobody expected a failure of a model to be fighting at the championship level in boxing, yet Adeno, with the help of coach Frederick, will have to face this very strong Canadian champion named Juteau.

Will the fists of a champion bury themselves deep into Adeno's head and finally give Adeno's first loss?

Episode 7: Continue On! Fading Star's Final Clash!!!
6-Adeno VS Chuwatana
Ricardo Martinez was amused to see Adeno win the IBF Championship title from Juteau, but he tells the media that what Adeno did was actually child's play. Still, he invites Adeno to the WBA to make him taste what world rankers are like.

The Victorious Road show has started an online polling survey about the next guy Adeno is supposed to face. Ponchai Chuwatana's name gained most of the votes, because people remember his past dramatic battles as a boxer.

Coach Frederick tells Adeno to not get too confident, because world rankers are very different from international types. He continues to train him with maneuvering and more ring tactics, most obviously practices to avoid getting hit.

Will Adeno beat the world's rank #5 or is Martinez correct in likening him to a child happy with his new toy?

Episode 8: Use Your Speed! Best of Asia VS Best of Media!!!
1-Adeno VS Sasam
With his win over Chuwatana, Adeno only has one man left to face before he fights the legend from hell, Ricardo Martinez. Standing in his way is Sasam. Like Chuwatana, Sasam hails from Thailand and sports a very tough body from Muai Thai training as a kid.

Martinez continues to downplay Adeno's performance against Chuwatana, stating that the beaten Thai boxer was already on his fading years. Martinez also told Adeno that even if he beats Sasam, what he will face would be of another world. He demonstrates his threat to Adeno by breaking a coconut shell with a jab!

Coach Frederick saw Martinez's demonstration, and tells Adeno that he has to avoid getting damaged too much in his next fight against Sasam, the world rank #1 contender.

Adeno's boxing skills have been improving since he started, but will this be enough to take down Sasam?

Episode 9: Torture From Hell, Path to Heaven! Inevitable Farewell!!!
8-Martinez-WBAChampionship.mp4
The time to battle Ricardo Martinez, the longest reigning WBA Champion in history, has finally arrived! Ratings for the Victorious Road show has reached its peak and bets are on! Ricardo Martinez has never lost a fight, and won ALL 82 of them via knockout! It is believed that Martinez can also knock out any of the heavyweights with his other wordly punches!

Coach Frederick reminds Adeno NOT to get hit at all by Martinez, because his punches can end careers brutally. He also advises Adeno for this to be his last fight in boxing, because win or lose, he's sure to suffer some form of long term damage from Martinez. The coach also tells Adeno that although Martinez seems to be too perfect, he has a flaw. Whenever he throws an uppercut, he stays in the same position for the same duration of time. He tells Adeno that when he sees this opportunity, he should target Martinez's head with everything he's got. He also offers condolences to Adeno in advance, just in case he gets killed in the ring.

At the press conference, Martinez tells Adeno that there are Mexican, American, and Filipino greats, but above them all, there is Ricardo Martinez! Adeno responds by saying that Martinez's power will be his own downfall.

A movie extra turned boxer versus a long reigning legendary king of boxing, the stretchers are already waiting near the ring and the ambulance is outside ready to speed to the nearest hospital, Adeno's final battle shall begin!
