Bios USA /Japan version
I wasn't aware they made a USA/Japan version of the BIOS. Do you have more than 1 BIOS?

Yes, I have serveral version of bios put in a same directory and the pcsx recognize all of them. (USA, Japan, EU version)
To solve the compatibility issue, I tried several version of bios but
I didn't notice the difference at all.

BTW nice rig you got.

Then it is really weird. FFx autohack doesn’t start automatically so I have to press F9 to enable FFX hack but the game crash in MTGS mode
U are playing X or X-2. In X-2 I have to enable it manualy every time I restart and before loading a game or it crashes. Also u can't load any saved game while using MTGS on X-2, don't know why.

Please don't give suggestion or support for any piracy or piracy attempt, or you might get banned as well...read the FAQ before replying plz.
and yes we do consider the legal issue since it is serious and important for the emulator and the game/console suppliers

You people had better lay off the warez talk or you're going to find yourself with warnings.

i got a question about a processor comparison real quick which is better

E4300
or
E6300

i heard they overclock about the same....

im also having a problem with X-2 with MTGS enabled... but it works fine without it. ^^

The E4300 is basically an E6300 without the virtualization feature, and with an FSB limit of 800Mhz (the FSB for E6300 is 1066). Since virtualization isn't something a home user, or a gamer, is likely to ever use it's pretty much a write off. The bus speed is the only significant difference IMHO.

I've read benchmarks showing that the E4300 is basically just as good at overclocking as the E6300, so you can still get very good performance out of it. So, my 2 cents is that if you are budget conscious the E4300 and a cheaper mobo (lower FSB) are going to be a very good option.

The thing is, right now the processors are about the same price +/- 10 bucks usually. As mentioned the E4300 has a lower FSB speed, which in theory should make it more overclockable with 800 MHz DDR2 ram. (i.e. you don't have to go to 1066 RAM). I'll agree with Barius - both an overclocked E4300 and E6300 can outperform a (stock) X6800 - with the E6300 being more able to match it because of L2 cache and Bus speed. but, you can save probably 200 bucks in RAM and Mobo by going to the E4300 and STILL outperform a stock X6800. man I love core 2.

for the MTGS&DC, you have to disale it for FFX to enable FFX-hack. just hope they mix ix it in the next version ut the game is still near 40fps anyway so it shouldn't matter that much.

994 MHz? you're kidding buddy, there's no such thing as a 994 mhz athlon 64. also read the faq at the beginning of this thread.

download this - there are several Athlon 64 at 2 GHz. This will ID which one.
Video card not as important as CPU - This is a utility that can also ID other hardware, and can say what motherboard you have, to see if you can upgrade to dual core.

Hello

I've got the pcsx2 version 0.9.2 R2
I only can play with the programm without VM.
But in the game i only get 4-5 Fps
Its kinda slow i think because my spec isn't too bad.

My spec:
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-7VAX
Chipset: VIA KT400
Processor: AMD Athlon XP @ 2 GHz
Ram: 1,5 GB
Video card: ATI Radeon X800 GT

Somebody know something to help?

Solidussnake : Since it's an Athlon XP, and not an Athlon64 X2, That speed will be normal.

u need a different controler plugin like twinpad; however even with that, it's still quite hard to use.
the best way is just plug ur ps2 controller to ur pc
