I have fixed my own patch.
Now this game is really PLAYABLE to me with PCSX2 0.9.2.
I think I just lucky.

The status of this game in the compatibility list is PLAYABLE with PCSX2 0.9.2, but when I tried to play it, nothing displayed.

Then, just like Legaia 2.

Has anyone got patching to work with Disgaea 2? I've converted codebreaker, action replay, and even attempted artmoney (which isnt freezing values) and none of it works. Havent had this problem with the original Disgaea where everything works fine. I've spent several days trying different permutations with zero result so far. Currently it looks like this but this has been as useless as all other character, xp, funds, stats, or any variation thereof so far.

(I think the title is right)

game playable no artifacts/hangs/crashes
50-70fps on X2 2,6GHz and o/c`ed 7600GT
need 60fps or above for constant fluid gameplay

Leave the "t" out, it should be a ".pnach" and not a ".pnatch".

How do we add cheats to a patch thats for getting the game load or bypass the video?

it seems like a lot of people had the same problem as i did for patching disgaea hour of darkness. well here is the pnach i made. turns out, infinite money crashes the game.

Just wondering, how come addresses with 1xxxxxxx don't work? Sucks, coz I only want to use 1 code, and it's a 1xxxxxxx one =/.

when i try to run pcsx2 (newest version) it will always go to the ps2 screen where you can go to browser or system configure.
I've tried using zerogs kosmos and it says error opening gs.
I've been trying all of my ps2 games and they all turn out the same way
and btw im using the original game.
ff 12, RE code veronica x, gran trusimo 4, and NFSU,
does anyone have a solution to this problem.

I don't know how you missed the fact that this is a thread for patches.... If you need help, try making your own thread instead of posting off topic like this in other ones.

Sounds like you have a downloaded BIOS if you're missing those files. And this isn't the place to ask for help with getting games running.

Some games run fast on VM version and yet slow on TLB one. Hypermode fixes that problem.
