Help! PCSX2 Noob!

My laptop System is:

windows xp sp2
Intell Core2 Duo 2.00 Ghz
2 Gb Ram

My Graphic Card:
Nvidia Quadro FX 350M
Dedicated Memory: 256 mb
Total Memory: 512 mb
Direct X 9.0

(it is 1 year and a half old, dont be rude )

I'm trying to run the PS2 game Orphen-Scion of Sorcery (im a fan) but it's just to slow, is there some settings that can be configured to run it at good speed?

My uncle break my PS2 pad and can't handle the stick whit precision, then I saw the Orphen game in a garage sale, buy it, but can´t play in my PS2, so I'm using this emulator, but thought my laptop can't handle it.
