FFX-2 no sound?

Hey im playing FFX-2 on the emu and im only getting battle sound effects.. like when a player strikes etc.. i tried every sound plugin and i either crash it or the sound gets worse? anything im doing wrong or is there another plugin? thanks for any help :]

ok

if i disable the patches the audio works fine, but then the game doesn't run.. once i click new game it just dies out.. the video gets messed up >.<

so.

i figured out a way around it.. what i did was i enabled patches to start a new game... then saved at the first possible point... disabled the patches and loaded the game.. tada everything is good :] full sound and games running fine... just seems to not want to start a new game without patches enabled.

you can try to save in-game using sphere-save first,
then try to disable the patch and load from the nearest sphere-save without using the save-stat
