PCSX2 for PS3

Hi, has somebody tried to start PCSX2 on the PS3. It is possible to install Linux on it. This should therefore also be possible?

nein it is not possible, because PCSX2 is written for X86 machines only, the PS3 has an Power PC processor.

And other, if you dont have a ps2 to get you own BIOS, you therefor cant use pcsx2 legally on you ps3. So buy a cheap ps2 and play your games there.
