Why does Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 Run slow?

Is it my computer?

Specs:

Intel Quad Core 2.4ghz
Nvidia 8800GT 512MB
2GB DDR2 Ram

Are those bad specs for this? The game is running slow and the sound is not in sync either..

What fps do you get?

Your video card is fine, but for the cpu - pcsx2 only uses 2 cores, so considering pcsx2 you have a core2duo 2.4Ghz. To gain full speed in Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 you need at least 3.0 Ghz.

Also, what plugins are you using and did you set all the cpu options on?

no man, I think that specs should be enough because i run it on 50-60 fps on a amd dualcore 4000 1 gb ram and a geforce 7200 gs.Maybe it`s your config can you post it? be sure that you enabled mtgs and dual core also are you using gsdx 0.1.8,if not download it and try native resolution.I don`t know what else it could be, try using directx june update

are you running on pcsx2 0.9.4 with the updated files?
Check the official website and get all the latest files and plugins.
The sound plugins in the 0.9.4 installer are older than the ones on the site (iirc)

Edit: Are you using the GSDX graphics plugin?
if not then try it, it's generally better
