Tales of The Abyss issues
Tales of The Abyss NTSC (U)
I've a problem with the game. The game works great! 100% with speedhack, and 80-90% without, and its stated playable at compatibility list. But I have two issues. http://xs127.xs.to/xs127/08210/talesofabyss269.jpg 1.The game doesnt freeze at all, but my control wont respond when I press Triangle(menu)->Battle->Ad skills Edit: same goes for Library and system, because they leads to a list. (look at screeny and u will understand) I tried to press all my buttons, but no respond. The game is going on, like if I didnt press anything. And I noticed something special appeared on the Console. I have tried with pcsx2 0.9.2 and 0.9.4 ..(beta too) 2. In Gsdx the game is a bit darker than on my ps2. In zero, it's a bit shiney Has any1 been able to resolve this issue before? I can live with a bit darker, but if any1 has, plz share

2. Yeah, the 1.7 version of GSdx is darker than the original game. A new beta of it fixes that. You can compile it from SourceForge.net Repository - [guliverkli] Index of /trunk/gsdx but it's not supported here on the forums.

![]() I've also encountered several freezes with that game (not related to the submenus). So, I guess it's better to wait some time before you try to play the game

submenu isn't bad... really only the options and ad skills can't be reached some other way... and the SVN GSDX version has ghosting issues with Tales of the Abyss from my experience which is far worse than the game being somewhat dimmer imo.

![]() But it is not always present and because of that I would still prefer the gsdx beta. But, as I said, we better wait for an official gsdx release.

I get 'paperman effect' a lot, but I just find it hilarious
![]() you need to use save-stat a lot, or you might crash any second lol and I just don't understand why that mesh-polygon game costs so much GPU power =_=
