Resident Evil 4 Infrared Scope Problem

Hey guys,

After happily playing with RE4 for hours, I suddenly get massacred by a regenerator after realizing my infrared scope doesn't work. When i look through it, it's just purple all over. :/

I did a quick search, and the responses are varied; some people say that they don't have any problems with RE4 except for the movies (I get those too), however there are some who also say that the purple scope is normal and I should just suck it up and take it like a man.

I'm sure my Q6600 stock and GeForce 8800 GT have no problem, and I'm using GSDx 0.17 and PCSX2 0.9.5. Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any known workaround?

As far as I know there is no known workaround,you just have to live with this until (if) it gets fixed
