computer specs: see sig

software specs:
pcsx2 vm svn 374 + MTGS+DC+ EE/IOP sync hack + disable forced ABS
gsdx 0.1.7 (DX10, native res, 16:9)
zerospu2 0.4.6
game set to 16:9 and progressive

normally get 40 to 60 fps

i've found that gsdx 0.1.7 looks/runs better than any 0.1.8 svn ive tried
also, increasing res really slows it down for me :'(

edit: pic is looking upward while on the horse, btw so the camera isn't screwed up or anything

thx man but i was trying to say that progressive scan is introducing the black zone issue for me.....

and yes going over 800x600 really slows it down a lot....still playable at 1024x768 though....

only shadows problem remaining yay!

Question

Hey nexxuno,

Glad you got the game working. Have you been able to get physically on Colossus #5 yet (the bat)? I tried shooting it with the crossbow (just like the youtube.com videos) and he never swoops down, but seems to fly away into a wall and disappears. Anyhow, I'm wondering if I just suck, or is there a glitch in PCSX2 preventing the bat flying down to be boarded?

Dang. Yeah, looks like the 5th Colossus (The Bat) will *NOT* fight you due to a glitch in the emulator. Attached is a memory card with saved games from a real Playstation 2. You can load a saved game right after The Bat was defeated so you can keep playing the game! I'm fighting the 6th Colossus now... so far, no problems with him!

Edit: Is anyone else having trouble getting the electric eel to surface (7th Colossus)?

Well, using real PS2 save games I tried attacking Colossus #5, 7, and 8 and none of them would fight me. Guess for now this game should still be labeled as "In-Game Only". Major props to the dev team though, the progress over the last few months has been incredible.
