Question Help with Kingdom Hearts II Sound

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting good sound quality for Kingdom Hearts II? The graphics is excellent but the sound is the only problem. Here's what I came up with:

ZeroSPU2 0.4.5: Good but sound is too choppy.
P.E.O.p.S SPU2 1.9.0: Slows down game too much.
GiGaHeRz's SPU2 1.7.0: Best out of the three but sound is "loop-y".

System Specs:
Mobile Intel 915 Express Chipset Family graphics
SigmaTel High Definition Audio
Pentium M 1.80 GHz
2.00 GB RAM

Like I said the game itself runs at full speed, but it would be nice to have good sound so I can really play. The GiGaHeRz plugin has some settings like sound buffer size which is set to 4800, the number of buffers which is 10, and the different types of outputs, but I don't really know what to do with these. Any help would be appreciated.

its nice to hear people ask about sound in KH2 instead of the UNPLAYABILITY ,GRAY SCREEN AND CRASHES
the game isn't emulated yet so give it up
and about you getting full speed on that PC , I seriously doubt it because i cant ,and My PC is slightly better (GFX card Wise)
and the choppiness in sound is a result of unsynchronized processes so if the game doesn't run well to begin with ,bad sound isn't such a bad thing after all

I believe that this raw video that I just took proves you wrong. Besides, all I was asking for was for any suggestions that might help to make the sound quality a little better. At least I have hope in PCSX2 that it will be running PS2 games full speed in the future, unlike SOME people.

dude. That's not full speed. Not even close. Sure the FMV is playing at a fairly high speed, but that's not full speed in game. The sound is bad probably because the game isn't running at 60FPS, so sound is lagging out.

Seriously though, you call that full speed? you're on crack or something.

Also, I thought the Pentium M was a mobile class processor. So that makes it even ****tier.

That video was really meant for deamonhunter's statement: "the game isn't emulated yet so give it up". And yeah, I really meant that the cutscenes run pretty much at full speed, but been I've working on the game and I've actually improved the gameplay speed a little. But really, cut me some slack here. The laptop's running on the worst mobile graphics availible and on what I consider an obsolete processor, yet it still manages to do this much. I mean, come on! The thing can't even run Aero on Vista for crying out loud!

Sound problems will be caused by crap speeds, which i guess you are getting (what kind of fps are you getting anyway?)
Gray screens and crashes might not occur for hours, but when they do,you're screwed so before stating that the game runs fine,do a little research first.
There is a way to work around the crashes as seen here PCSX2 Game Troubleshooting Guide
but if you ask me it's too much of a bother to constantly do that just to get around crashes

dude i didn't mean to be mean or anything
the game isn't playable because you cant just start it and play it to the end
I know some parts are playable , but still as a whole the games status is ingame

and the crashes are super annoying
and by the way I'm not criticizing the emu ,but this certain title is known to have issues so I'm just informing you about them

and again excuse me if I somehow sounded like a ****

Nah, that's okay. But I'm still surprised that a 915 chipset can actually run anything on PCSX2. When I tried running the last version of PCSX2, it BARELY ran anything. The bios I think took about a minute just to get to the system menu. But with PCSX2 0.9.4, the bios now takes under 10 seconds to get to the system menu. Now I don't know about you, but that to me is a major improvement. Now I'm not saying that it runs at full speed, because it doesn't, but it does run a heck of a lot faster then before. Hmm..I should make another vid to show this.

And about the crashing: I have been running Kingdom Hearts 2 on my other PC that you see in my signature (a.k.a My New Rig), and the game has never crashed once, and I've actually been able to really play it. I'm not trying to prove that it will never crash, but so far I haven't run into any major problems.

well the newest improvements in the emu (the speed hacks )are probably why its gotten faster ,but still until you start playing with Sora and the orbs and munny start coming out, then you will start suffering

Haha, Kingdom Hearts 2 sound problems? I envy your configuration, PS2Guy4. I could never get the game to run for over 15 minutes without having an ugly rectangular box or a crash (usually triggered by attacking or going into a save point).

I'm using ZeroSPU2 and it works great. It probably sounds choppy to you because Time Scaling is checked and the game isn't always running at at least 60 fps. If you really are bothered by it, uncheck it and check Real Time instead.

I've played both Kingdom Hearts 2 (U) and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ (J) on PCSX2 0.9.5 and it's perfectly playable. Grey screens happen to me but that can be solved in 10 seconds no problem.

I don't get crashes with ZeroGS KOSMOS (no SSE2) but I do with GSdx and ZeroGS KOSMOS (regular version).

I don't see munny, orbs, enemy laser attacks (in Gummy missions), etc. but I've got Draw abilities to catch them all and you can spin/move erratically to dodge the attacks.

This game is very playable if you find a good configuration and have enough patience to save as much as possible as well as taking an extra 10 seconds to correct blocky/grey/solid colored graphics every time they appear. I've even gotten through the 1000 Heartless battle without much problems.
