no one knows when the games will be playable, and the devs get mad when you ask questions like these.

as time goes by, little things are added and fixed in PCSX2, and then eventually new games become playable.

I don't really see how this has anything about troubleshooting the emu....

If you're in canada, selling a CPU should be quite easy.

Entrusting PCSX2 and being an old man are not mutually exclusive.

The wait really is the way to go.

The topic was refering to the waiting time to have the games running properly on the PC platform.

How would getting another PS2 help?

he should HAVE a ps2, even before considering using the emulator. If he doesnt then he should be concerned with doing that, cos i dont imagine them games mentioned will be playable any time soon.

Killzone is playable if you want to play it at 2fps.

ok, i have say something, i love pcsx2 and core2duo, but i canīt play god of war or ghost rider for example, suppose it this: really how long time i have to wait for play this games in pcsx2??i can restraint me of to sell my pc, i can wait 1 year, but 2 year is too hard,..this game is the better for me and more important because has films effects and mor hits and combinations, better structs and graphics, and interactivity in the game is amazing pure action 220% and not a simple strategy game, and to me donīt have any comparison and is best than beouwulf wich is actual game and more heavy in gb, in psp this games are too,, but there not a psp emulator, for other part, to sell a core2duo is very hard because need publicity and the price, well my girlfriend tell me that i am very idiot because i donīt got a ps2 time ago and did i have Spent all my money in a core2duo3.0 and she told me this time before i spend my money..really iīm looking for god of war, ghost rider, killzone, blackhawkdown, prince of persia, but at least god of war

Your writing style is rather confusing.

Nonetheless, that was more so along the lines of "asking when the next release is [that will make game X run]," which is severely frowned upon.

Your post seemed to suggest that you did not get a PS2 until recently due to the expense of previously buying a desktop CPU. However, now that you have bought a PS2, you wish to run the games on the computer instead as soon as possible.

That seems rather rushed; you would still have much to explore out of your new PS2 under this circumstance.

You would probably have to wait a while before the game(s) you have mentioned would be playable.

It is not worthwhile to sell a desktop, buy a PS2, and then buy an updated computer to play the game.

Just buy the PS2 at its low price today.

However, since you have already tried to play it on your computer without the ownership of a PS2, support for your game has been forfeited until the legality of your future PS2 and game purchase and the legal BIOS dump can be verified.

No. Support was never requested. You here assume that he ripped a BIOS off the internat, while nothing such has been stated (not even that pcsx2 was downloaded or used).
Decisions are to be left to the discretion of moderators. Anticipating moderation or performing backseat moderation only worsens the atmosphere between users, and is not recommended, for the benefit of everyone.

This constant ranting itself from the OP, on the other hand, has seriously become pretty irritating enough to warrant a closure anyway.

Sorry Hard core Rikki, but I am not taking decisions. I am just trying to point out something, which is good because the mods don't have the time to examine every post.
Anyways, I am sorry.
