my PC config: Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2,4ghz) 2gb ram DDR3 Radeon HD3870 50gb on C drive free space(I don't know if physical memory is taken from windows equavalent for linux swap or ram) Thanks in advance for responding. |

the memory is taken from a very specific memory location.
if you have another program running that takes that memory, then PCSX2 won't run. sometimes programs like Anti-virus apps take up that memory location, and don't allow PCSX2 to run.

turning it off still keeps it in memory. if you don't want to uninstall it, you might be able to kill its process in task-manager, and it might work.

I'm using NOD32 (v2.7) and never had it conflict with PCSX2, so it must be something else, unless you have a different version

Killed all non-system processes and some system ones(which wont shutdown windows), uninstaled NOD32 and... it still dosen't works.
[edit] Damnit i got no idea how to set up this memory. [edit 02] I removed all useless programs, killed all non sys porcesses excluding creative ones, killed some sys processes that wont chrash system when removed, and still it cant set up its physical memory. i have noticed one thing - before it finishes loging out i get another msg from emulator that it was unable to set this memory and i get option to choose other vers, - meybe this error is happening too soon and thats why it cant set up this memory?
