Save Issue in Mana Khemia
I have a bit of a problem as the title says, for some reason i can't save any files ingame, it always says that creating save data failed. Same if I import a save file all that happens is that the file then gets corrupted when I try and save over it.
Anyone have any info they can offer?

Well I have been using save states but it's a little risky to rely completely on them since I could end up overwriting it very easily by pushing while on the start-up screen or something by accident. I'd just like an ingame save as a backup if only to be a little cautious.
Oh and about the intro, the beta of the new IPU update fixes that problem easily.

That is happening to me to, but in every game. I think if u load off a save state then try to save on the memory card it wont work, so you gotta save one way or the other.

Also, frequently used memcards can end up corrupted. If you use PCSX2 a lot, I recommend you use one memcard per game, and periodically back them up, too, just in case. More saves seems to increase the chance of corruption, I believe. You can just use NTFS compression on your save directory if all those 4 MB files eat up too much space for your tastes.

@tabasket: Nah it doesn't seem to be the savestates causing it I've tried saving the game just after the opening sequence to check and it didn't work.
@ChickenLiver: I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I'm saving. Thanks for the help both of you.
