Help with Pcsx2

Hello!
Im new to the forums and i had a lot of trouble with this emulator but i can finally get up to the startup part (when you turn on your Ps2 with no disc in it)
even though MGS3 is in the drive. I have seen many trouble shooting guides and nothing tell me why i cant play the game. I have changed many of the options in configuration and in the end the only options that work are:

Graphics: ZeroGS KOSMOS OpenGL 0.96.7
Cdvdrom: CDVDnull driver 0.6.0
Sound: ZeroSPU2 0.4.4

im guessing the rest is irrelevant? Oh also the bios i am using is USA v2 although my game is from the UK, not sure if thats a problem, shouldnt be if i can get as far as i am.

Another thing is that even though i can get as far as i have the graphics are horrible and the sound quality is anus gravy.
So as you can see im in need of some major help so please share with me your wisdom

My specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800 + 2.25 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM
GFX card: Radeon X1950 Pro

There's your problem. Switch it to one of the other plugins, any plugin with 'null' in it's name doesn't actually do anything.

Well, there's actually an easy solution to this.

Don't bother running MGS3. It's status is ingame and nothing, aka, not playable.

Not to mention, you have USA bios and your from the UK?

Your system is to weak to get any games besides 2D playable really.

MGS3 is know for not being playable yet (unstable + very slow even on the most powerful PCs -what yours is not-). Updating your plugins can't hurt either
