Disgaea 2 graphics/sound

I thought disgaea would run almost perfectly on this comp...
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core
3GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

yea, i know the graphics card is weak but for disgaea 2?
i start the game and its fine except the sound sounds echy...
also the game slows down a lot and i dont think it should, correct me if im wrong.

i changed the resolution to 800x600 from 640x w/e it is and now the screen is almost all black and the sound is REALLY echy.

help?

Try it with the latest gsdx and zerogs, one of them should give you fullspeed.
Also get the latest builds of pcsx2 and zerospu2 from pcsx2.net > downloads > beta.

If it still doesn't wor, post your plugins and settings.

everything is basically on the default settings from when i downloaded and installed pcsx2.
ZeroGS Kosmos 0.97.0
-check mark next to bilinear filtering
-anti aliasing for sharper graphics none
-default window size 640x480
ZeroSPU2 0.4.4
-check mark next to time scaling
SSSPSX PAD Plugin
Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.7.0

um thats about it.
i load the game by going to file>open ELF file

Config the ISO plugin from the settings and select your ISO from there :]
(Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.7.0 in your case)

reason i believe it was slowing down is... DC wasnt on haha.
is it better for me to select dual core mode or multi threaded GS mode?

aw gee a new problem after another...
the speeds perfect now.
im playing and all of a sudden the graphics mess up so it becomes unplayable.
i can hear sound and everything...
