FFX Help needed

this is what I have


2G ram, and an ATIX1950 pro... but somehow FFX only runs at average 35 FPS..
oh and also, during CGclips... the picture's all messed up...

I've tried every plugin that came with the whole emulator

can some1 help me please? Thanks

Make sure in CPU options MTGS AND DC are ticked (so it takes advantage of both cores),and that your using the LATEST plugins (ones downloadable from either the site or the plugin section of the forum)

Yep yep, the latest GSdx should give you some improvement. And if you already haven't done so, download and install the AMD dual core optimizer.

Well tried everything you guys said... and there's an improvement of about 20%... its at 50FPS at battle scenes now. Is that the best my comp can do? would more ram help?

Ram doesn't help if the game is already working. Plus, 2G is more than enough
Which version do you have?
If you have the PAL version, 50 is 100% speed.
and try to turn off AA in your driver setting and in PCSX2 graphic setting.

I have the NTSC version... which should be 60fps if im not mistaken... AA is set to application setting... its alright thought thx tho big mouth

Well, the 6400+ BE is AMDs best bang for buck CPU but it still a toss up in respect to PCSX2. Ever thought of overclocking that sucker? Every little bit helps and a couple hundred more Mhz could probably make you hit 60fps (not constantly, but more then what you're getting right now).

how can i disable the AA from my graphics card ..,....not from the pcsx2 ...
