is the 'tighter spu2 sync' speedhack still relevant for anything since the update?
using pcsx2 with it off still gives perfect playback in ffxii now

No, I ment first video, after Konami logo, its in MPEG2 format and you can even extract it from game's files. The same situation for The Document of MGS2, Mpeg movies just freezes

has that one ever worked for you? if it has, we have a problem

Doh, stupid me - didn't connect speedhacks to video playback. With them off, the videos no longer cut off, althrough they're a tad slow.

Speedhacks are landmines. Sure they make the games work faster, but also cause a lot of crap...

Just wanted to report that .Hack//G.U Reminisce is now Broken with the new build(haven't tried the other two yet) you can hear the sound but you won't see anything.
Regardless of this,Great work everyone. Your dedication to this project is an inspiration.

what GS plugin are you using?

right then ill need blockdumps off you two. make an iso (if you havent already) load it in to linuz iso plugin and tick the block dump box in the linuz iso config, then run the game as normal.

Degeon: Just do a few seconds of the video, else itll be huge

Dante1717mx: run to the point it stops loading.

once done, press escape and then close PCSX2. in your PCSX2 folder youll have "isoname.dump" 7zip it and upload it to a free hosting service, then send me a link to the file via PM

Heh, altough I'm sure it fixed many games, it's a bit of a letdown that I can't really enjoy the improvements.
Because when most fmv's run 60fps, you couldn't see the macro-blocking anymore

Except for FFXII, which is amazing now

Code Veronica X videos are perfect.

Castlevania LOI intro video is perfect now.
Before it used to run around 35~40fps, but with very bad sound and some pauses.
Now it runs @ 48fps all the time, and no pauses. If i mark the "Tighter SPU2 Sync" i get 45~46fps.

i want report that the videos in castlevania curse of darkness are broken you just see a black screen they worked fine before, other is that i notice a slow down of about 10 fps in some videos of other games but thats is just a coment.

as before, turn off speed hacks and test again.
