but I was told on several occasions not to post the info, as many people wouldn't be able to grasp it or something, and many people would make tons of topics and complain because they couldn't figure out exactly how to do it, and I've seen others also say they can't post the information, as it is related to beta SVN's, and therefore, not allowed...
Same here, I can imagine the noobiness issues present. Which is why I'm my case, we leave it to the contributers to work out how to compile, only leaving hints for dependancies, etc.

Hurray! Future, official builds will now have better compatibilities and much more aesthetically-appealing graphics... Until then, people who want to compile but can't will be complaining... XD

I think all NIS games will work now because Atelier Iris - Grand Phantasm is like Mana Khemia,Ar Tonelico and all other Atelier Iris series...they all have the same problem with the videos and since Grand Phantasm is working now I think the other will too

heh,
youtube will probably make them look crapy though since they convert all movies into sucky quality.

Youtube these days allow you to view the new videos uploaded in a "higher quality mode" which will look really great, just check this video I recently uploaded and click on "watch in high quality" under the amount views.

YouTube - PCSX2 0.9.5 BETA: Final Fantasy X -Macalania Woods- (FMV starts at 5:20)

I don't think that's a bad quality at all, even the music has better quality.

I think maybe one month ago or so, possibly a bit earlier. You seem to need 1Mbit+ download speed so I guess it uses 1Mbps for the video bitrate or it will pause every few secs (unless you hit pause and let it load for a while of course) as I have 1Mbit download speed right now and it stops every 5-10 secs or so for a tiny bit and continues unless I pause it and let it load.

I used 640x480 1.5Mbps bitrate in VMW format for this video as I wanted to be sure it would look great and it seems in high quality it looks more sharp than even it originally did but yea that's due to downscaled to 320x300 res but it definitely doesn't seem to have lost any noticable quality though.
