Getting my BIOS

Caus you guys won't help me until I get my own BIOS, I attempted to rip my BIOS onto a USB.. I burnt from the ISO that was provided in this guide a CD, and it would not boot up on my PS2.. It said something about me needing to insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 disc..
Soooo I then go to THIS guide to dump over a LAN, and it tells me straight off that if my PS2 won't play CD-Rs (which I assume will be non games/DVD movies, ie, the disc i tried in the other guide) then I shouldn;t even bother with it..
So how did you guys do it? Or have you all got modded PS2s??

Console: SCPH - 300002 R
Browser: 1.20
CD: 1.20
Playstation: 1.10
DVD Driver 2.10a

An Action Replay or a "PS2 exploit" would do the trick nicely too... modding wonks warranty ;P

find someone who has a modded ps2 and det them to borrow your memory card and lend u a ps1 disc to put the exloit on your memcard ( presuming u have a fatps2) and then u can pretty much boot whatever teh fack you want

Ahh, thanks! Although I don't think I know anybody who still has a working PS2 let alone a modded one ><
