on 343 digital devil saga is stable. Amaziing. Still freeze sometimes but not too often. Ill check if shinmegaten nocture is fixed too. But suikoden 5 crash more early ( same cutscene, few speech before ) than it used to

SMT3 was fixed at 270 and was playable on a single core at 0.9.4. Digital Devil Saga has always had problems. Suikoden V needs you to kill the boss on the boat quickly or it might freeze. Afterwards it needs a skip video patch or else it freezes in the old spot when Belcoot shows up. The War battles in it are messed up because of some unknown error, but you can still eek by in them. Other than that, I've been able to log 12 hours into the game without a crash outside of the problems explained.

smt3 is nocturne right? yes it is playable, i've reach about 20 hrs in that game, but it crashes all the time, then maybe single cores are more stable for this? as for digital devil saga. i tried almost all svn and i think 343 is the best one since it didn't crash everytime i change scene. suikoden needs a patch? oh i see thanks, can you pm me or something about the location of the patch?

The way to stop Nocturne from crashing is turning MTGS and DC off, of course, this rapes speed.

I hope this is the right topic: I was wondering if the problem with MGS 3 (where Solid Snake falls through holes etc.) is a matter of PCSX2 machine or plug-in. So, we would expect it to fix (if it happens) on a latter version of PCSX2 or on a new version of a graphics plug-in?
I am sorry if this is ther wrong topic, i couldn't think any more suitable for that question... |

Guys try to play Kingdom Hearts 2 with svn 344 AND Zero GS 0.97.1, you will be surprised coz crashes are far lesser even the GSOD! I played from hallow bastion, then gummi ship mission, now I'm at the Land of Dragons and not a single crash (except some minor graphical errors and slow downs which are not that bad actually) also Odin Sphere is faster with zerogs than gsdx, I wonder why, coz if im using gsdx 1.7 ssse3 i only get 35-52fps max! but with zero i get 60fps all the time even with bf on and 4xAA
edit: yes the bloom effect looks unnatural but its fine with me as long as its playable and other areas of the game has no bloom so l;ets just get over it till its fixed with gsdx

With zerogs yes, but if you use gsdx, most (if not all) graphic glitches will be gone and there won't be such a bloom effect.

but im afraid gsdx tends to slow down KH2 a LOT especially during battles and cutscenes, also crashes are more frequent (pcsx2 crash and the GSOD)... have'nt you noticed?
edit: well, i used to get a lot of GSOD too early in the game using gsdx that's why im saving states every minute but now that im out of twilight town im using zerogs and no gsod for me Last edited by toyopsp; April 3rd, 2008 at 11:32. |

they are neither less common or more common, its all down to where you stand and where you look.

And do not check any adv. option in ZeroGS config window. One of them brings bloom back even with 256-color trick on.
