oh, till now PAL DMC1 is the subject here.. guys why dont you try svn 344, if the same problem exist with PAL DMC! then lets move on for a while, shall we? how about discussing KH2, like how to get rid of the GSOD for example? or shadow of the colssus perhaps? that game is almost playable if not for the shaky first boss which you cant kill..or rogue galaxy which is a great game but unfortunately has a bug that wont let the main character move. look, im not requesting for a fix or anything its just that, there are so many great games out there that we can test and try if hey're already fully playable or still needs fixing. I'm no advanced coder, i know only basic programming but not much, at least i can help with bug reporting/game testing if need be for any particular game that i have. SSX on tour seems to run just fine, i've played the FR mode from peak to bottom with no problem at all

Same thinking here exactly. Makes absolutely zero sense to me at all. I triple checked it to make sure, and it only works perfect via the Run CD/DVD way. Visually the only difference I could see was that the ps2 bios/welcome screen doesn`t happen if you do things the Run CD way. Does that affect the running of the emulator in some way?

I always prefered seeing the PS2 logo when starting a game up, but no biggy either way.

looks like path3 masking to me, just wanna make sure the guy is either using gsdx with mtgs, or zerogs with single core mode. other ways wont work (well, zerogs and mtgs will)

if anything, itll be more compatible, we had problems for quite a while running things with run->execute, it got mostly fixed but i dont think its perfect. Run CD/DVD should run best.

Happy to report that Disgaea 1 and 2 (PAL) run 100% perfect in the latest versions. No slowdown anywhere and no gfx glitches at all .

It's a nice simplified way to let devs/people know what's been changed from version to version, it is however very informal, one would have to look at the code to see what's been changed.

there isnt any significance, not every change has to be a groundbreaking update, i just fixed a small bug in counters.c i made when changing the vsync stuff (id like FFXII PAL owners to try the videos on it) and i cleaned up common.h cos in was an unorganised mess.

I still get those weird FFXII video errors (using my german PAL copy).

There is one more issue about FFXII videos:

in ntsc version, videos runs on my computer at full speed (60 fps) most of the time
in pal version, videos are running between 20-30 fps

using svn343

guys i tested Devil May Cry 1 NTSC version (file -> run CD/DVD)
with the EE/IOP Hack it hangs after capcom logo.
without the hack it works.

you can also make a quicksave in-game, and then load the state in order to use the EE/IOP hack... but maybe theres another spot where the hack breaks it...
btw, game looks great , but i still only get 45 fps w/ speed hacks ... guess its one of those heavy system demanding games.
