hey every1..i was just curious..how far are people normally able to go in metal gear solid 3? i've been trying every build released, and it just keeps getting better and better when it comes to fps!

okami has a glitch after the first fight okami stands at the same spot.

Yep, you can't really move after first fight, you can jump and make this dash but you can't go anywhere. But that's only with speedhacks enabled. If you disable them you can go on.

Posting report and registers dump (that's with both speedhacks on) just after the fight when you can't move - if that's any help.

Would be cool to play with speedhacks on coz the game is much more faster Kudos for support and great development anyway

Oh and thats with SVN 343.

Had VSkip enabled accidentaly but meh, same thing happen if you have it disabled. Only GFX is bit more buggy.

Peops spu causes FFXII to freeze during the intro fmv, it takes around 10 secs or so to occur. Also, FFXII now has strange flickering. At least for the pal version.

on the video? yeh dont use peops if you want nice videos.

I get that too, PAL version. The videos were working fine in 0.9.4 but have that flickering and tearing in all the beta's I've tried so far. The movies are a bit faster in the beta builds however and the problem with disappearing voices and hangings after cutscenes seems to have disappeared completely.

Yeah it looks just like that screenshot and like I noted it could be only with the PAL version. I haven't checked the ntsc one. I typically use Peops spu with FFXII because for some reason it seems like the Zerogs spu doesn't play all the sounds. Peops has worked fine up until one of the SVNs, I don't remember which one exactly.

I have the NTSC version and everything is fine with any possible plugin configuration and speedhacks on/off(pcsx2 rev 343)

Nope. Like I said with or without them. FF XII PAL FMVs were always problematic <they show something in custom res thanks to gabest's hack in GSDX anyway. BTW see example - but it was back in GSDX9 10-8 or something:P. One more thing - take a closer look at number after '4:3' and compare it to FF XII NTSC - u'll see something funny:P>

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I just didn't get a screenshot of it. I have PAL FFXII. It's okay with svn315 but with svn327 (I don't know about previous subversions though) there is that flickering.

BTW something is not right with savestates since rev 339. Tested in one game so far - Rengou vs Zaft II Plus. Loading a sstate usually works for the first time but after second loading SPU2 plugin is on rampage - sound blocks at high tone and keep going over and over again. Or it will break with something like this (7 amount left is 0) in the console <don't have to mention it works flawlessly in 338 just before messing with sstates in 339:P>.

Someone has already told u to disable speedhacks. Do it and there will be no glitch to fix.

savestates will probably cause that, but that message is from zerospu2
