sorry guys, i was just trying to provide some feedback and extra testing.
i'll just say 1 more thing and shut up. FFXII was very unstable with the 4x hack; i now see why the devs arn't releasing the 4x hack. |

Why would you want 307 when you can get 330? or better yet 333 if you compile it.
Its majorly inferior to the 327-333 releases. Just of quick note: the memcard bug is still in the emulator. If you attempt to click on "memcards" the emulator closes without a single error message. Been like that since 307. In either case, now that DMC1 works I`m happy . If Gran Turismo 4 ran at good speeds on my comp I`d be even happier, but meh beggers cant be choosers.

Oi guys, great news about "Shadow Hearts", I've got it to run at full speed!
Using DX10 mode in 1.8, SSSE3 version, and the latest build(330, I tried 333, it didn't affect it at all) @ 1440 x 900 resolution, texture filtering and whatnot, it runs full speed for most of the time, although it appears FMV's can still be choppy at times, and certain scenes can drop FPS more...and at first I thought it was cause two people entered the screen, but then on the next screen where there was 3, and more in the backround / going on, and my FPS was perfect, it just seems some area's aren't emulated yet. This is with Vista Ultimate /w SP1. Most I could get was 50FPS in XP, but I think it's merely because the DX10 plugin may be coded better. The only issue you have to deal with is the black lines across the screen, no interlacing mode removes them and Texture Filtering on or off does nothing. Well at least with this, it seems it has finally reached it's "Playable" status, that it was given. :P This is related to beta's, so that's why I posted it here. Most of my games are in fact faster in DX10, except for some which appear to have no difference. None run slower then, but if I turn Aero on, my FPS halves, even if RAM consumption only goes up 200MB. Well, not entirely true, but it appears if I do it in Windowed, full speed + effects of DX10, but if I go Full Screen = FPS halved, must be some Aero Vista feature, but if I turn on Windows basic(Which doesn't look bad at all!)It runs at full screen with no slowdown at all.

I know, but it appears to be an issue with Windows itself, not the emulator. I'm just telling this to anyone using DX10 mode that Aero + Full Screen = halved.

well why do you have Aero running? it's a resource hog. When benching pcsx2, click the box for windows to run in 95-98-2000 mode.

Because I was testing something, I know it's a hog, but I had to find out certain information see to see if it really impacted speed.

cottonvibes: It turns out you were dead on the money. Had 2 corrupted files on my first memorycard. No idea at all how that happened. The proper memcard viewer showed the 2 corrupted files, which sadly were both undeleteable so I had to start from scratch on a new memorycard.
Soon as I did that the "memcard" button worked. So all fixed now.

It happened on the E8400, too.
I'll try if the E2140 has the same thing tomorrow.

That's more of a graphics card issue, and it's not the first time I see a person say PCSX2 runs faster with Aero enabled either.
