Guitar Hero 2 - FPS too low

Hi, this is my configuration:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ (Dual Core)
Nvidia GeForce 7600 256MB
2 GB RAM
...

PCSX2 0.9.4 config is:
CPU = All options for dual core are enabled
Video = GSdx9 0.10 (D3D/PS3.0)

I'm experiencing very low fps with Guitar Hero 2, making it almost unplayable. Any tips?

Yes, upgrade your Graphics card, and CPU.

Download GSdx 1.7(Latest, go to the GSdx thread in the Plugin forum)

Try out SVN 307 with Speed hacks enabled(Google PCSX2 SVN 307, I can't link due to rules)

Other than trying those options, your CPU is to slow. Graphics card would be ok for low resolutions, wouldn't look too pretty.

WTF?!?

I know my graphics card is not that great but...i have a dual core CPU!

But that's not the point, I can't even go to the menus and it crashes with this new plugin...

EDIT: Please help me, I can't play any game now. It just crashes right after I start it!

So what if you have a Dual Core? It doesn't mean everything is going to magically run amazing and without slowdowns or flaws. Quad Cores just came out, and Octa-Cores will be out later 2008 / early 2009.

Quad-core just came out ?

LOL ! They been here for more than a year !

The Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 was launched at January 8, 2007 at US$851. (reduced to US$530 on April 7, 2007, and to US$266 on July 22, 2007)
