Graphics Card Part

At
4) If Using Vista and have a DX10 Graphics Card select "Direct3D10 (HardWare)"
or
If Using XP select "Direct3D9 (HardWare)"
5) Select Pixel Shader 3.0 (if available)
or
Select Pixel Shader 2.0
(if you get a blank list and can't select anything, then you have too old of a graphics card and need to upgrade)
I have Vista and a DX10 Graphics Card (768MB DDR3 nVidia GeForce 8800GTX)
yet i can't select any pixel shader option.Any reasons for this?

Because DX10 only can use Pixel Shader 4.0.

If GSdx in DX9 runs faster, by all means, choose that.

However, you may also use GSdx in DX10 since your card supports PS4.0 and you have Windows Vista. In certain cases, it may be faster for the game.

I think it was happening to me a while ago.

Try pcsx2 0.9.4 instead of 0.9.5 if that's what your using.

Then you might want to consider buying a new graphics card.

Cottonvibes...that's probably a troll, that post is to stupid, even for stupid people to make. I skipped over it earlier, because I hoped someone else would catch that it's a troll. Just look at it...people are idiots, but that just looks intentional.

it depends on what game you're trying to run.

did you check the compatibility list to see if that game works on PCSX2?

also, are you sure you made the ISO correctly?

try using another game (or the same game), and use PEOPS's CD/DVD plugin, and read it from your DVD drive.

if it works, than you must've made your ISO incorrectly.

also, please post your system specs and the game you're trying to run.

EDIT:

btw, this emulator dosn't run PS1 games; if you put in a PS1 disc, it would give you the "this is not a valid PS2 disc" bios screen.
