Ahh you must be one of the new generation mate

Let me tell you, NO new game had the outright QUALITY of the Snes era RPG.....you probably didnt grow up with them, as some of us on the forums.....hehe you probably never breakdanced a boss to death, or sliced into him using the atma weapon, or beat the living ****** out of a trash talking octopus that later took a job as a receptionist....i could go on and on (it's late where i live ).....but recently a sealed copy of FFVI went for $700 on ebay....um let a new game try that...

nah i wouldn't consider myself a new generation, i was gaming as a kid on the NES.
but i only started getting into RPGs when i played FF7, b4 i was just obsessed with games like Mario/Megaman/and Sonic.
I would always start playing FF1 on the NES as a kid and get bored b4 defeating the first boss lol

but i could honestly say, i've never "breakdanced" a boss to death rofl

I played many Snes games, even Jaguar(My cousin had it, we played it alot) I don't think I ever played an RPG till PS1, before then I had Sega and played Sonic and some game where you're a kid with black sunglasses and transform into creatures and hit blocks and it's really cool :P!

Before that, I played Snes games like the duck, Space Invaders, and lots of Pac Man. I still play alot of pong.

i think its cuz back then, games were made by a handful of people, and they liked what they were doing.
and now they're made by like multi-million dollar companies, with 100's of people. so the games feel like they're missing something..
anyways, i'm off to bed. (its late here too)

and lets get this thread back to talking about my guide/PCSX2 so the mods don't get mad

did you even read my guide?
you havn't updated gsdx and havn't tried pcsx2 beta;
plus you're using Gigahertz's sound plugin which isn't very compatible yet.

and i said to use the forums if you need help on a specific game, since i don't have everygame and don't know how to make them all work...

if you guys have problems with my guide i'll be glad to help, but at least read it!
i'm not going to repeat everything I already said in my guide... thats why I made the guide in the first place..

hmm, insinuating i dont know how to read is rather rude and quite frankly i dont want to listen to it, so stfu you dumb fourteen year olds, althought it may have taken me an hour or so to get the emulator to work, im sure im smarter than you cotton. a large part of the reason i did not read much of your guide was simply because i was 99% sure you are to stupid to create a guide that would actually be of any use, now after i look at it , im 100% sure

You're quite the rude one, I doubt you're more intelligent than a guy who comes here and says "I downloaded xxx game, help me"

You Sentence Structure, Spelling, and Grammar are awful too.

Look I think you mean "implying"

But look there's no call for that kind of language. If you want to poke fun at people and take names, fine, but keep it off of the forums..

I'm not an admin, but if you keep this up your'e on the fast track to getting banned.

Quick comment on burning to HDD image/ISO etc: I find this makes games run much smoother - both CD/DVD drives I have, despite being quite new, cause all sorts of lag and sometimes freezes on reading. So I'd definitely recommend ripping the image to HDD rather than running from CD/DVD drive.

Personally I use Alcohol, but linuzappz also supports .nrg (Nero image) files, so for those users who have Nero installed already, this option would avoid having to download/install new software for conversion to image.
