guys, if i find alot of people read this guide i'll consider going over and fixing all the grammatical errors.
i wrote this as i would a forum post, not an english essay; so i didn't really care to check for capitalization/grammar/spelling mistakes.
hopefully, people will still be able to understand what its saying.

john rarris, thanks for the comment. at least i know i've helped someone out, and didn't write this in vain

btw Phil, i'm a girl. but usually people on forums think i'm a guy, probably due to the way i talk

one thing you might want to fix..when it says "11) Click "Logarithmic Z" checkbox
12) Click "Alpha Correction" checkbox"

Maybe you should be more clear by saying "have the Logarithmic Z box checked/unchecked/gray"
You know what I mean? When you mean just "click" well just clicking it could be different for people.

Just something to add to step four.
While alcohol and magic iso are great programs, I know for sure alcohol has a trial. And magic iso is also a trial version and can't burn iso over 300mb (PS2 games most over 2gb)?? There is another option i found. It is actually a plugin for the pcsx2 emulator. And that plugin is called "EFP Iso CDDVD Driver 0.6.0". It can rip isos or play straight from a dvd.

Add DVD Decrypter to that list. It's a free, simple program to rip your PS2 discs.

ok guys, i'll edit the guide right now.
thanks skoreanime for mentioning DVD decrypter, i used to use that but i forgot what it was called.. now i just use Alcohol..

anyways, i'm also going to add how to set up memory cards since i forgot to do that.

and a troubleshooting section at the bottom...
yeah i'll get working on that now.

ok i updated the guide, btw gamersat678 i didn't mention using "EFP Iso CDDVD Driver 0.6.0" because it dosn't come with PCSX2 9.4's download and I don't want people to get confused. Plus, i'm too lazy to download it, and write down instructions on creating an ISO with it ; but i still gave you credit for your suggestion in the guide

Hello, I need a Little help, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts, and the game crashes after the first boss battle (in the part that Sora is swalowed by darkness) I wana ask if this is normal, or if there is a way to resolve this. I have a Gforce 7500 GT, I now its lower than the minimum requests, but the game was running very well until this part. If I press the Start Button, the game pauses, but the only thing that the screen shows is Sora's eye.
Sorry about the English, I'm still learning.

It's normal for the normal download and installation of 0.9.4. Download the latest plug in and the beta 0.9.5.

Johny (and anyone else who reads this guide), if you guys have game specific problems, please make a new thread about it. i don't know how to fix everygame, so its better to make a new thread and let the other members on the forum help out.

i guess i should have said that in the guide... o well i'll update it tomorow, but i'm too tired now

...i might even make a section for "special game fixes" on how to configure pcsx2 for specific games. cuz i've had to mess with some settings to get different games to run, and it might help some people out...

EDIT:
I added a new "Special Game Fixes" section to help some people out.
If you guys know of anymore tricks/settings to fix specific games, please post and i'll include it in the guide.

you should upgrade to gsdx 1.7 (i have the link in my guide), make sure you read how to set up everything

if you still get messed up textures in "every game" your graphics card might be messed up. try games like Final fantasy X, or Final Fantasy XII, those games run pretty well and you shouldn't get messed up textures.
