Some Important Notes :
- Use the PCSX2 1474 beta, later revs make the game crashes, usually after saving state!
- If you use the latest GSDX disable "Allow 8-bit textures" option, it causes some graphical glitches
- Use native res if you don't like the black lines

i'm using GSdx 1650 SSE2 D3D10 Hardware
and nope, phenom II doesn't have SSSE3

looks like the graphical glitch is exclusive to ATi problem as confirmed by rama2...

ATI sometimes requires tthe texture format be modified.. ie BGRA rather then ARGB, otherwise the alpha channel is teh failz and you get messed up images.

God of War 2 running in "HD"

System Specs used:

AMD Athlon64 X2 5200+ @3Ghz
2GB DDR2 667Mhz Ram
nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB GDDR3 @ 680/1700/1900 (191.07 Drivers)

Emulators and Plugins:

PCSX2 Beta r1888 VC9:

GSDX 1076m D3D9:
Graphics Plugin used to remove the slightly annoying fog bug as well as the "ghost effect" but in turn, it seems to disable the glow/post processing effects. Shadows are also missing.
1280x720 and enabled widescreen and progressive scan in the game, internal D3D res set at 2048x2048

SPU2-X 1.3.0:
Sound plugin, set it at default settings.

Lilypad svn r2001:
Used Logitech Rumblepad 2 Gamepad for controls, vibration function active.

Internal PCSX2 ISO Image reader:
Converted the original GoW2 DVD game to a massive ISO file to the hard drive for faster access of data.
