Final Fantasy X (US, PAL)
Status: Playable

PCSX2 0.9.6 svn 967

All Speed Hacks enabled, no frame skipping.

Plugins:
GSdx 868 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14 (PS.3, Filtering, no AA, 1440x900 int.)
P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0
Lilypad svn (r870) 0.9.11

Bios - USA v01.60

CPU: Athlon 64 3000+ (OC 1.8GHz - 2.1GHz)
RAM: 2GB PC3200 DDR (OC 400MHz - 450MHz)
Video Card: MSI GeForce 6600GT (OC 500/1000 - 555/1140)
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3

Averages around 45fps in most areas, with spikes as high as 80-90, and drops as low as 25 (eg. Zanarkand). The game is comfortably playable on my older system. First timers need not be discouraged by the opening cutscene, as the speed picks up significantly upon entering the actual game.

It`s a screenshots thread, go ask these questions in the help forums, not here. Most of us are subscribed to the thread and we are expecting new screenshots, not how-to`s.

PCSX2 985 BETA

All Speed Hacks enabled, no frame skipping.

Plugins:
GSdx 868 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14 (PS.3, Filtering, no AA, 1440x900 int.)

I'm getting considerably higher speeds with the BETA version's experimental speed hack. On average, the game plays comfortably at around 45fps with spikes around 65 and drops no lower than 30.

I tested Final Fantasy X, XII and Kingdom Hearts II with Rev 1046 in 1280x1024 with DirectX10 all checked options and Blend => It is very beautiful compared with the native in television. It runs most of the time between 35-50 fps . We can see more details etc...
It revives these good games. I love it.

Unless you got a raw freq over 2.66 GHz (minimum) you won`t be able to get pure 60 fps for most of the games. With the latest SVNs, which are optimized for accuracy better than for speed... your PC will be able to run several games at average speed.

P.S. This is no tutorial page so ask these questions elsewhere, we are all subscribed here so each time everyone expects to see more cool shots, not some questions

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII

Title : Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII (NTSC)
CPU : Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz
RAM : 2GB DDR2 800 MHz
GPU : GF 8800 GT 512 MB
OS : Windows XP SP2

Emu version : 0.9.6
Plugins : SPU2-X 1.1.0; Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.8.0/Gigahearz's CDVD 0.7.0; All CPU options enabled
Speed hacks : EEx1.5, INITC, IOPx2
Advanced : default
Status (limit fps): Menus-fullspeed, FMV 30-35fps, ingame (30-40fps), slowedowns on heavy load (20fps)
Status (VU skip): Menus-fullspeed, FMV 40-45fps, ingame (40-50fps), slowedowns on heavy load (30fps)

Game is playable but runs a bit slow on my rig. ZeroGS 0.97.1 generates lots of artifacts most of the time (making the game unplayable with this plugin), but FMVs look good. GSdx 890 SSSE3 0.1.14 runs much better, but the FMV are all messed up unless its run on native resolution (which generates some graphical errors ingame). There are some frame buffer effects in the game, but somehow only right half of the screen is processed. There is a chance that PAL version of the following game would run faster.

P.S. Note that the screenshots where done when the game was run from DVD which lowered the speed by few fps. Also irfanview was run in the background and ate 5-10fps.

Grim Grimoire (PAL)

This is a strategy game for PS2. Actually you may seem confused because it`s like a platform game, it`s quite addictive game with very deep gameplay. Even it looks like some Lemmings game from the beggining it`s actually a real strategy game. Ah and the controlls are sweet with the controller! But enough talk - here are the shots ENJOY!

Very fun game. I had problem running it with reasonable speed (lots of slowedowns) on my PC using GSDX 1.15 (1.14 too), but after I switched to ZeroGS the game runs fullspeed all the time. Maybe I'll post some screens soon.

My machine is a bit less powerful :

RAM : 2GB DDR2 800 MHz
GPU : GF 8800 GT 512 MB
OS : Windows XP SP2

Speed hacks : EEx2, INITC, IOPx2
Advanced : default
Status (limit fps): fullspeed, seems fullyplayable without any bugs (sound, graphic, whatever)

The game has some small slowdowns on heavy load, but I read somewhere that those are normal for the PAL version (I play in fullscreen mode so I didn't check if there is a fps drop). I didn't check yet how the game runs and looks with no AA, AAx8 and AAx16. Umm... when I run the game in fullscreen (my res is 1240x960), the window mode res does not matter right? Only 2 screens for now, but there will be more.

Edit : Ok, I tested the game with AAx8 and AAx16. x8 makes the game run really slow (like 25fps) whenever audio is played and x16 cuts the fps in half just by itself.

Edit : I tested the slowdowns, the game works fullspeed all the time (50fps), which means the slowdowns are in game.
