Street Fighter 3 - 3rd Strike

PCSX2 0.9.5 SVN Rev 377
ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.97.0 - No Bilinear, 2x AA
ZeroSPU 0.4.5 - Time-Scaling
Speed Hacks - Disable Forced ABS, EE/IOP Sync Hack

Perfect frame rate, no graphical glitches no intermittent slowdown.

NOTE - 50 Fps limit due to running it in PAL mode via an NTSC/PAL patch, reduced speed makes playing it on the keyboard easier until I get a control pad sorted out

Rule of Rose (PAL) (SLES 54218)

Playable

PC
Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 @ 3.9
XFX 8800 GT 512 mb 670/950
Asus P5K-SE bios 1104
2GB Kingstone DDR2 800 @ 867
Windows XP Professional SP3

Emulator Config
PCSX2 0.9.5 svn 390 VM
GSdx 0.1.10 svn 849 | 1440x810 internal resolution (AR 16/9)
ZeroSPU2 0.4.6
LilyPad 0.9.4
Linuzappz ISO CDVD 0.7.0

Comments:
  • To bypass the first screen after you choose "start", you have to uncheck ALL the options in cpu: EERec, V0Rec, V1Rec, MTGS and DC (that's the reason for MENU status in compatibility list).
  • As soon as the game start, you can check them again, except for V0Rec (otherwise you'll get a lot of garbage/sps).
  • The game on XP runs faster than Vista for me, but on DX10 you dont have to deal with a little problematic Logarithmic Z.
  • The problem with Log Z is almost irrelevant, just some shadows being display wrong. So if you need speed just ignore dx10 and play with dx9.
  • The game need a lot of raw power, like I said you wont have V0Rec checked. Use all the hacks already discovered: Denormals are Zero, Fast Branchs and EE/IOP X3 Sync Hack. None of them are present in official builds, so you have to search how to do it and compile yourself, like I did here.
  • Disable Force ABS and FFXII hack wont do anything, dont waste your time with them.
  • Even with V0Rec unchecked I play most of the time with 50~90 fps, because of hacks. No bugs so far, except for some spots where fps drops to 20 for a few seconds. Nothing to worry about.
  • In the first 7 screenshots I've used default game configs, they are a bit darker and with a heavy noise filter (like in Silent Hill), that is turned on by default. In the last 2 screenshots I bright it up a bit and put noise filter at the minimum value.

Enjoy that good survival horror game from Sony

Third Age
E6600 @ 2.4
2GB 660MHz
eVGA 256MB 7800GTX @ 490
360GB/7200RPM
Windows XP

All plugins at default, game running from an ISO

Game is set to run at default speed. It actually runs slightly better than it does on the PS2. However stencil shadow rendering does not work, and the player model will sometimes be frozen at original model pose position (you'll just glide around the world).

Fantasy Zone II for System 16 released on the Fantasy Zone Complete Collection yesterday... It plays almost perfectly, There seems to be some very minor framerate/sound synchronization problems, but none you will notice while playing.

Runs at full speed on my 3.0ghz dualcore with a 8800 GT, don't know what the minimum requirement for running this would be, it's a 2D game, but it's also a System16 emulator...

Edit: Made it to the fifth level and no problems whatsoever, but Windows Update crashed PCSX2.
