Final Fantasy X

gsdx 0.1.7

resolution manually set to 1920x1200

q6600@3.6 60 FPS always

a few random screenshots taken while playing

It's a real pleasure to replay the game through again with this type of graphical detail. It's amazing, imo.

Final Fantasy XII (U)

Hardware: look in sig

Software:
PCSX2 0.9.5 SVN 307
CPU: MTGS, DC Mode, DynaRec, normal
GPU: ZeroGS 0.97.0 (Bilinear Filtering|No AA|1280 x 1024|Fast Update|Full 16 bit Resolution)
SPU: ZeroSPU2 0.4.4 (default)
CDVD: Linuzappz ISO CDVD 0.7.0
Speed Hacks: EE/IOP Sync Hack, Disable Forced ABS

FPS:
Max: 140fps
Min: 55fps
Avr: 92fps

Status: Playable, minor bugs

Bonus: last shot taken from PCSX2 0.9.5 svn327 with Intel dual-core fix for Win XP SP2. FPS difference between that shot and another one earlier was... 16! And you bet, after that fix, min fps was 75 instead of 55 like earlier. Or maybe it was just that I disabled all visual stuffs... but hey, they can't make such a huge impact on performance.

Didn't go much further than that, though. FPS max and min as shown in screenshots.

P.S.: between shot 4 and 5 there is a huge drop in fps. The reason is because I forgot to turn on "Full 16 bit resolution" in the special fixes section... and the fps dipped like crazy without that. Also, cutscenes would have glitchy shadows if you run with anything other than the native res.

Edit: Adding two screenshots of Gran Turismo 4 PAL on PCSX2 0.9.5 svn327 and GSDX 0.18. FPS is almost full... lowest at around 40fps, and highest at 90fps. Game seems to run fine but it crashes... a bit too often, and I can't even get into any race, or race to the finish. Oh well, there's a start.

Need for Speed: ProStreet (Menus)

Specs:
AMD X2 TL-60
2GB DDR2-800
nVidia 8400M GS

Avg Speed: <10FPS with GSDX, ZeroGS just crashes on the load screen.

It's very SLOW and the main menu has the car with a messed up paint job.

EDIT: I take the extreme slowness comment back. forgot about the new GSDX and updated. Runs over 10FPS now.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008

Status: Very Playable

Specs:
Core 2 Duo E4500 2.53Ghz (Overclocked), Geforce 8800GT OverClocked x2. 2GB RAM. I am using Windows Vista 32Bit Ultimate SP1.

At the Menu and in entrances I get around 55-60FPS.
There's a minor problem with 1 of the speedhack I use causing the screen that shows the entrance movie to freeze but I prefer higher FPS then some clip.

First 8 screenshots are in DX9. Other 4 are in DX10. In DX10 there's an issue which causes the crowd to completely disappear. I have no idea why it happens but thats the only problem I came up with using DX10. The FPS remains stable.

I use PCSX2 0.95 rev 330.
For graphics I use Gsdx 0.1.7 and most of the time I choose DX10 to play. It doesn't cause any FPS lowering as far as I can tell.
I use all the Core 2 duo speedups that the emu has to offer and I used some speedup hacks that were added in this version of the emu.
