If someone is here who has the game and can handle a disassembler, i will explain what i actually did.

Nope... It doesn't work..... The game just tell me that there aren't FFX-2 savegames in memory card... But if I delete the patch, the games load an italian savegame and freeze after loading!!!!!

FFX-Jap can't inside game.
It always enter endless-loop when play intro movie....-_-!!

Thats what happens to some people.. Dont worry.. Besides u can even get ingame.. Use a game save if u want to get any further.

hm, i'm using ver FFX International (SLPS 250.26), so is there a patch 'load US NTSC FFX gamesaves' for it

Can someone else (besides Nachbrenner) with a PAL version (SCES 50490) verify that this works for loading a savegame from an NTSC version of the game...? The PAL and international version are very similar(but very different from the NTSC version) so i don't expect it to work , but can someone else confirm it as nonworking or working?

hi..i´m new wiyh pcsx2 and i have a problem when i try to run ffx-2 in my pcsx2. when i try to run the cd (iso image) it opens, but don´t run the cd, like it´s not even there.goes to ps2 defenicions.. can someone tell me what is the problem?

change the dvd plugin from dvdnull to peops or linuzzappz!!

To those people who can't find these to work, the memory addresses might be different as if you are running a different version of PCSX2, since the memory addresses might have gotten swapped during version upgrade, you can try the older version to load, save again, then load in the new version if you don't want to find it in the new version.

However, I'm not 100% positive about this XD, but this is accurate for most emulators

I am using PCSX2 v 0.9.4, and I found the following to work for loading U.S. saves into the UK version:

//Use (U) gamesaves [SLUS 20312]
patch=0,EE,00241434,word,24a56e60

I hope this helps anyone who was having trouble getting the patch to work.

I have a further question: Once I have loaded a U.S. save into a U.K. game, is there any way to "hot-swap" the patch so I can save it as a PAL game? Secondly, I noticed that the sphere grid is still the original U.S. version without the added abilities. Is there any way to fix this? (I realize I cannot switch to the Expert Grid in an already created game. I am referring to the extra nodes that were added to the Original Grid to accommodate the new abilities.)
