what's wrong I pressed R1 or L1 but not load dialog menu with copy...

Help please

Don't double post, instead next time, exdit the previous post. The R1 button in your config is H, you may have to hold it down for a few seconds to get anything.

Alright, I have made some minor changes, but nothing big. I have added links to GameShark and CodeBreaker. Bolded some font and colored it red. I have attached a PDF version of this guide if anyone can't open a Word Document. PDF Version is located on the first page. Enjoy!

OK, firstly thax for taking the time and effort to work and type this out.

Secondly i followed all the steps and it wont paste the save, it says "PASTE FAILED" (Final Fantasy X)

And wen i open the "config/memcards" and select my "Mcd001.ps2" and select "format mcd", and retry the steps it still wont work.

Is there a specific bios i should use or somethin'

PLZ HELP (THX)

PLZ HELP (THX)

Make sure your memory card is formatted. To do this,

Load the CDVDNull plugin.
Hit File->Run CD (It will load you to the bios)
Hit X (or Circle depends on your bios) to go into browser
and then hit X (again, or circle) to select the memory card.

If it says the device is not formatted, hit yes to format, then try copying over again.

thx, i just downloaded a memcard with like 40 saves of ffx, but wen i load the card, it doesnt display the saves in the mem option or in the ffx saves list (says no ffx data was found)

First do not double post,edit your first post instead
Second the game doesnt recognize your saves because they are probably saves from another region of the game,eg youre using the (U) version saves instead of the (E) ones

After I already finish Creating Game Saves ( on Last Step No.36 ),so what I'm gonna do on next? Quit and Restart PCSX2 emulator again or what?
If I'm restart the Emulator,whether to used all the same Config at last time or have to Changed it? Can I changed?
I'm changed "CPU to Recompiler","Sound to SPU2 DSound Driver 1.3","Cdvdrom to CDVDnull".After that when I press File to Run CD, It's just go to "Browser and system configuration Mode", Why??? Or somebody can tell me how to Start this Emulator and play the game??? Please......for me..........Please....Because I have no idea how to start the game....

CDVDnull is ONLY to load the BIOS.
Use PEOPS CDVD or Linuzapp CDVD driver.

I dont understand WHY we will need a mcard save to play a game? If we cant play a game without a memory card, then i think that it is a good idea, if the pcsx2 team make a list with mcard saves, so we will be able to download them What did you think about this idea?

Some games dont go ingame because of a movie sequence. for example...Kingdom hearts...with 0.8.1 after you start a new game it freezes at the fmv, but if you load the game from the memory card, you can actually go ingame and play it with some graphical errors. It all depends on the game you are playing.

I dont see that the pcsx2 team needs to make a list with mcard saves. the people of the forum can do that by creating a new thread.

I have download a game save from code breaker. But i dont undestand, if it is from Pal version or from NTSC. What do i need to do for it?

Put in on the memory card and try it out with that game. If your game doesn't detect the save file, then its not a saved game from that region the game was made for.

Are there any games, that works without memory saves, or not? And i think that it is a good idea if someone open a thread about game saves, so we will be able to download them from there. Also another good idea is if someone put a tutorial about how we can a dumb a game save from the ps2. I visited gameshark,codebraker but i dont find memory card saves, for all the games that i want to play.

1. PS2SaveBuilder is not working for me, I even downloaded it off the offical website and it doesn't work. Which version of the .NET framework do I need or do I need something else to make it work? I have .NET framework version 1.1.

2. When is this awesome guide going to get stickied?
