Problem with Kingdom Hearts, could really use some expert help

I started out using build 9.4, I have since upgraded to svn 377 (which I know isn't supported), but I've had the same problem through out. Videos in Kingdom hearts are seperated out, almost like they are vertically interlaced, when using GSdx 846. Ive tried all 6 interlace modes, all versions of the plugin from dx9 software and up, all have the same problem. I've even tried multi cd-rom settings, and sound settings.

SPECS:
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ (3.01)
2 Gig dual channel Ram
nvidia pci-e 8800 GTX 768mb (ForceWare 169.25) (bios 60.80.08.00.40)

Here are my PCSX2 Settings:

GSdx Menu: This is a screen shot of the menu before the video, everything is perfect (at least i think so)

GSdx Video: This is what the video looks like, i also tried FF X-2 with the same results

zeroGS Video: This is what the zeroGS video looks like, it looks amazing but everything else is almost unplayable

I have tried both types of exe, the VM and non VM builds, the stable and beta of both, and with or without "Run as Administrator", i tried with all video hacks off and all 3 on, i even tried Compatablity mode on both for XP SP2, and 256 colors cause I found an old post that said it would fix this =)

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, I figure I must be missing something

P.S. Both Kingdom Hearts and FFX2 are real disks, not burns or isos. Both disk is in good shape and plays on a regular ps2 fine

In GSdx try checking the native box next to D3D internal Res, no idea if this would fix it, but it's fixed some graphical issues for me in the past. Simply means that the image is rendered to your default desktop resolution.

IntErlOpr,

Thanks for the reply, yep I tried that and using 1270x1270 (thanks to another post), all 3 aspect ratio modes. Even launched the ps2 bios alone and set the bios to all 3 ratios.....

Any other ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance

Ok first use 0.9.4,I don't want to get in the trouble helping you only to find out that you were using a speed hack by mistake messing things up.
Now,first try disabling both nloop hack (only use it with ffx,ffx-2 games, although gray should auto enable only when needed) and texture filtering. If these don't work, try using the directx9 hardware mode of gsdx ensuring you are using pixel shaders 3 and log-z with alpha correction checked.
If that too doesn't work,I'd say it's your video card drivers or something...

bositman,

Thanks for the reply, All hacks now off, back to 0.9.4 and the same issue is happening. I am currently downloading 175 forceware drivers, to see if that will fix it

For GSdx part of the problem comes from 0.1.9 version of the plugin. To fix that problem you need to use 0.1.8 but that's only for the the problem with the video, the other problem(GSdx Menu) is because you use 16:9 for aspect ration, use 4:3 or Stretch(I use Stretch). And about the background image in the video..that problem is there on any version of GSdx that I try.And about ZeroGS it's probably the same thing with GSdx...Disable 16:9 wide screen and don't use wide screen resolution, also just a note, you can't resize the window while you use ZeroGS,if you want higher resolution use the options or switch to full screen

While I use ZeroGS everything is ok

CheatMaster,

You are in fact the master, thank you. Going to 1.8 fixed my sole problem. Thank you very much
