Look at my screenshots and compare them with yours.
I have black borders left and right.
You could press F6 (or F5?) while ingame.

Delete all your pcsx2 settings in your nvidia driver.
Then try it just with nHancer.
Make sure you use the same external and internal resolution

why did you check vsync in gsdx?
it mostly slows the framerate down to 30 for me.

I never have problems when I use v-sync.
I thought there are only big slow downs if frame skipping is on.
However, I don't need it.

External: Just the resolution which your monitor shows (the output)
Internal is more complicated.
I think it is how good a game will be rendered by the plugin.
(The real game resolution gets increased).

The external should depends on the internal.
That means an external resolution of 1680x1050 never would help you
if the internal will be bad (example: 800x600)

Ok, I am now tired and going sleeping
If I told bull****, it was because of the time. haha

ok, the external resolution is the resolution your monitor use for fullscreen in the list above,
internal resolution is the resolution of the render target, its a virtual resolution.
if you set the internal resolution that it fits to the external one
example: ext: 1680x1050, int: 1680x1050, then you can use Antialiasing by using the compatiblity mode in nHancer.

yea but it has a handicap...
pcsx2 crash for me after playing a while with AA and my computer goes crazy.
it completely hangs up in windows and all what i can do is moving the mouse and press the reset button
No problems without AA.

Maybe the compat mode is bugged?

did you noticed similar phenomens?

I didnt test that AA method long enough yet, but considering the hacky nature of that compatibility mode
its not that surprising, eh

yes, it MUST match to the external fullscreen resolution.

e.g.: 1680x1050, 1280x1024,1024x768, 800x600.
640x480 does not work because you can't go below 512px

i think if you click the native checkbox, it uses 640x480 instead of 640x512.

so you might be able to use it with 640x480 resolution... although i'm not sure about that.

no native will use the native resolution of the PS2/game, and thats not 640x480.
