You're getting the black lines because you're using a custom internal res.If you use native, they'll go away

Hi this is sahil from India New to the forum so please excuse me if this post is outta place here and kindly redirect without much verbal bashing im a professional AI and robotics guy, and like to dabble in open source development and multithreading platforms.... i have some questions. and since this was one of the few threads that was talking about multicore issues i decided to ask here.... what does the pcsx2 team use for multithreading ... i mean are thy implementing it through and through with native threads like Pthreads , winthreads whatever.... etc or are they using a higher level abstraction like open mp , threading building blocks etc. are they managing tasks or threads individually.... how do i get my hands on the source code...(if it is open) how do i get in touch with one of the developers.....? how do i participate.... im a huge tekken fan and would really like to use all four cores on my q6600 p.s. Already have done multithreading implementations using intel -tbb for intel opencv myself which is giving much faster boosts than their own open mp implementation by about 21 - 24 %, and is scalable to 32 cores and im believe program scalability is important so that programs can be future proofed .... thanks and any help would be really appreciated |

But at any rate, you may want to start by getting into the code, reading it a bit, and then coming in the pcsx2 irc channel and talking to the right people (not me, that's for sure )

Refraction is the one who makes all the SVN's and codes PCSX2 fixes as far as I know, sadly, I do not know the other Team Members as I never read that section, but only know refraction is one cause of his activity on the forums. :P This may not be the proper information, but this is how I've seen it.

heh, looks like alot has been going on in this thread while i've been away ![]() anyways, I beat Persona 3 with PCSX2 and added a bunch of tips to the guide. And since I beat the game, its proof that the game is Playable with PCSX2 even though it has some bugs... The most annoying bug you'll probably encounter is the game hanging in some battles, I posted 2 tips on how to avoid this.
