Alright, awesome, doing a lot better. I formatted the memory cards and everything. The only problem is that now, I used the PEOPS CDVD plugin and tried to run the CD I had, and it was only a black screen. I went to the CDVD Null Driver since it worked with the memory cards, but it wasn't reading the game, while the DOS version did. Now I'm confused.

Guide didn't really help me...

Using Xbox360 Controller for PS3.

Recognizes it, and I put in the controls, only lets me do the X, Square, etc. buttons and not analog sticks or D-Pad.

In addition, the game doesn't show, and my screen is always on 640x480 no matter the settings I choose using the guide. I'm trying to run Kingdom Hearts II btw. I even have it extracted and mounted.

Using Windows Vista:

Here's my stats. I can run DMC4 almost Max.

EDIT: Just found out I'm supposed to be running in admin. NVM.

I'm having trouble playing MLB The Show 09. I have a Core2Duo processor @ 2.0Ghz, 2GB of RAM, and an Intel 965 graphics chipset. Is the video card insufficient? I think I followed this tutorial correctly but I am getting a pretty low framerate, like in the 20s and 30s, and the graphics are extremely poor... all distorted colors and pixelated.

(Such posts are not exactly contributing to the topic at hand, especially in the more serious sections like the emulation sections they are therefore not much appreciated.)

I looked up your graphics card, But its not just the graphics card, the 2 GHz cpu is not enough to give you a framerate any higher then what you are getting at the moment. most games require a cpu clocked at 3GHz or higher to give good frame rate.
With your hardware at hand the FPS that you get is completely normal.

That's what I was afarid of. Damn. I can't complain though, it's a laptop from work and not ment to be a gaming machine... looks like I may want to start building my own desktop again.

Thanks for helping.

If you have windows vista or windows7 then try to run the emulator in dx10 mode (gsdx dx10) it solves many of the graphical bugs and increases speed also.
