Howdy,

I've been able to get Fire Pro Wrestling Returns to run at 60fps 100% speed with proper audio and no game play issues, using PCSX2 0.9.5 SVN Rev. 377. However, each wrestler has what looks like polygon line breaks between joints. For example there is a thin black line between each wrestler's torso, arms, legs, and head. There is also a thin black line between the upper and lower back. I don't understand how these types of graphical errors could be possible in a 2-D sprite based game.

I am assuming that I need to tweak my graphic settings to remove these line breaks. I'd appreciate any PCSX2 graphic tweaking suggestions.

I am using the following PCSX2 options:
GSdx (MSVC 15.00, SSE2)0.1.9
"Multi Threaded GS Mode" and "Dual Core Mode"
Frame limiting 60 (75 caused the game to run at 125%)
Direct3D10 (HardWare). Pixel shader 2. I can't select Pixel Shader 3.
I am not able to select Logarithmic Z. The box is grayed out and I can't access it.

Below are my specs.
AMD Athlon 64X2 5600+ Dual Core processor
Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
CORSAIR XMS2 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 RAM.
EVGA GeForce 8500 256MB 128 Bit PCI video card

Thank You in advance for assisting me.
I truly appreciate it!

Milan

Image File

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get FFX to work on my comp, but it seems like only the CD works. I tried decrypting and running the iso thru linuzapps, but it doesn't seem to work. I configured it and pulled up the .iso file. I can run it from the CD, but it keeps stopping every min or so because it needs to read the CD again, and I can hear it start to spin in the disk drive while the screen pauses for a moment. I'd like to streamline this process if at all possible. During battles, I'm running it and getting about 80-83% FPS, which is great and I'd love to get it like that (or faster) with the image. Lemme know what you guys got. Thanks!!

8600 GT
2 GB ram
windows xp

I have graphic problems playing KH (1)
the gsdx pics are on imageshack because they are to big.
with GSDX 0.1.9 SSE3 this is what happens (all background black/bad)
//KH
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/7...6202430fh4.bmp
//FFX -works fine with zero gs
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/5...6202339nk5.bmp

with zero gs 0.97.1
pics attached the normal way
characters disappear (makes it very hard jumping around + just annoying)

only in KH (I have played all FFX with this plugin it was great!!)

You might be able to get decent frame rate from some 2-D games, but I doubt any graphics intensive games will work well on a 3.2GHz single core....(that's a single core P4 right?)

This guide has been very helpful but I have a problem. I'm trying to run this with a AMD X2 processor and Windows Vista. I use the graphics plugin that you use for the AMD, i think it's SSE2? I reached the part with setting up the memory cards but when I run the CDDVD option, it says it failed to load the two memory cards, then tells me I have to update Direct X? I already updated it but it keeps coming up. Can anyone help me?

Do you mean, when you get to the point where you adjust the CDDVDRom settings it tells you that there is something wrong with the memory cards? Or when you attempt to run the game?

Well, I am going to say that the two issue are unrelated. Vista has a lot of issues with the DX9 components not existing before a fresh install. Was your update resent? If so, you may want to restart. Other wise try downloading DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer (Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime). I had a similar issue when first running PCSX2 with Windows 7. I suggest then making sure the memory cards are even in the memcard folder, then go into the the config options and make sure they are enabled.
