Xenogears rom problem

Hi, i'm playing with xenogears and now, after ten hours, it stopped.
I don't know if it is because of the emu or the rom, but i had no problems until now.

The emu i use is epsxe and the rom is a bin file. If this can be useful.

I started this game for the fourth time i wanna finish it

I'm italian and i hope you understand...and solve the problem

lol why the question? You know he doesnt have the original CD...
If he had the original CD he would of known that its called an ISO and not a ROM.......
ahh maybe im just jumping to conlucions....

Actually, the ISO is a Read Only Memory (ROM) , so he didnt say anything wrong with that. People mainly use the word "ISO to distinguish between roms dumped from cartidges and Roms dumped from Cd roms

But yes , I also suspect that what you are saying si true

Okay, Krysta, be more specific. How/where does it crash? Which plugins are you using? And let us know what happened to your original cd.

thats why they call it CD-Roms :P iknew there Read Only Memory its just when your rip an image from your cd, usually you know that your making an ISO

i've actually had a similair problem. I dunno if its 10 hours into the game but it just freezes...period. It's been smooth and all up to now and just frozen now...im so pissed! Anyhow, I was using the original cd, thought maybe try turning it into an iso, did that, reloaded, it played like 2 seconds more then before and thats it! I dunno wtf, its so annoying. Anyhow, the only suspicious thing is that it sounds like during the gameplay(during one of those long story scenes where u just push X to continue the chatter) in the background it sounds like its restarded the game and i can hear for a short few 4 seconds or so the music from the startup of the game(which is clearly not supposed to be played that this time, even more so the part that i'm up to is playing the music its supposed to and is overlayed with the sudden starter up music(which sooo doesn't fit). I thought it was a cdrom problem so i dunno i cleaned my cd, even changed around the settings of my emulator, tried the iso and still nothing.
Anyone think make I can give you my save so that you can just skip this part that i keep getting stuck on !?
