Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2

I've started playing this very new tactical FPS game and I must say it's really nice. I like the engine because even with 1GB RAM and high quality settings I don't even get one single stutter ingame during a mission. This game lacks AA setting tho and instead it has it's own "edge smoothing" which helps slightly but not as good as I'd like it to be. Forcing AA through control panel only results in gfx glitches. The gameplay is really great, especially those tanks can make you sweat. The game uses physics ran by your CPU (unless you own one of those rare PhysX cards) provided by Ageia PhysX software.

Since attachments doesn't work currently here's a video I recorded with FRAPS.

Settings used: 1280x960, AF8x, High quality settings and "edge smoothing" enabled. Ingame FPS for me is mostly 50~100 (avg 65~70 FPS) with these settings.

Well that's cuz it wasn't really the 1st time I went through that part. I made several "runs" of it so it became even hard to choose between them but finally picked this one due to how I picked up the "RPG" and went to the hole in the fence and aimed towards the car and there was at least 3 guys that stood behind the car or near it that got killed by it. I've always liked stuff that explodes. Rocket Launchers, grenade launchers and stuff like that are always my fav weapons. xD

Afterwards I picked up the other "RPG" and ran towards 2 guys that were guarding a warehouse. They became pretty "suprised". xD

its a good game. its fun to play but, for some reason the latest drivers cause glitches on my 7900gt. i could either revert back to 93.81 or keep my 1xx drivers and just wait for new ones. i chose the latter. lol

Wish I could play fps games like that.
I actually suck in those games.
But it doesn't matter 'cause that is not my favorite genre.

I only like GRAW as a coop experience. Single player isn't satisfying and its much harder than it should be (while i guess it is realistic) but i much more enjoy playing those super hard missions with 3 of my friends. I'll definately be picking this one up for my wee LAN parties i have every few weeks...

I'll wait for a sale from Best Buy/Circuit City. I rarely ever buy full-priced 50 buck games unless if I'm really looking forward to it. I do know that my next big games I do want are Bioshock and Hellgate: London....and I am willing to pay full price for them.

The game is good , but the graphics , the A.I , the dialog , the explosions , are not that good.
I loved GRAW and GRAW 2 on the 360 , but this one just left me out cold.
