Crysis - Full version

Just thought I would up some screenshots I took during a bit of play.
Running on XP Ultra High @144X900. The originals were 4mb each so I had to convert them so theres a bit of IQ lost but still you get the idea. I will up some more later.

emwearz what type fps are you getting on those settings?

Your not actually playing at that framerate are you? I'm usually at ~15fps at those setting using the pseudo-ultra high config edit for xp. For me playable is at medium setting at medium settings at 1680x1050 at 30-40fps.

I average about 30fps mark with those settings (My card is heavily OC'ed), I have been playing the entire game with them, never really goes below 20, and that is when people get incinerated or the screen just has heaps of partials and action going on.

Im using Forceware 169.04, next time I up some screens I will include FPS on them.

EDIT: I quickly played until I got to a 'camp area' where the FPS is always at its lowest with enemy's firing, and heaps of explosions and smoke, etc Getting 23FPS in these heavy areas is fine by me. Also added the ship blowing up scene which has heaps of particles as a example, though the scene runs fairly well.

I thought OCing a card even the high OC friendly 8800GT only garners max ~15% performance increase.

Yea that seems about right, Im not saying those speeds are due to the OC, I only gain on average 4 or so frames from my OC (Vanilla to SCC clocks, with a higher shader clock).

What drivers are you using? I tried out like 4 different (of the latest as my card is still new in terms of driver tweaking for it) forceware versions and get the best results from Forceware 169.04.

Here are the cfg files I use (Refraction gave me them) try them out, perhaps there tweaked for better speed, who knows.

(extract them into you \Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config\CVarGroups directory)

We will have to wait and see CK's results as his using a GTX (though with a weaker CPU than yours).

And a few more. (This is one of the more long and boring areas of a game I have ever played, despite looking great, its just a bore).

ckemu for the win. Your shots look much more vibrant. Just like how my game looks... actually mine are slightly better because I tweaked some ini settings but still very impressive.

Ufff, its terrible trying to squeeze a game as detailed as Crysis in 400KB, so uploaded some PNGs to my site. Click on the image for a much bigger version!

Image 15 is probably one of my favourites, not because of graphical pretties, but simply because that black plume was a Korean infantry man....WHAT?!?! its not a waste to fire a shell at a lone man...he looked at me funny..all slit eyed

I run at 1024x768 with most settings on medium, shadows and textures on low, and get about 25fps.

Its longer than a fair few FPSs..how much FPS do you want

Take CoD4, my brother got it in the post a few days back, like 9am, by 1pm (having had lunch etc) he'd completed it ...then again the CoD series sucks beyond words...but still Crysis offers alot of game for its genre!

Dont get me wrong, its a great game (Though I thought it started to become boring when it went all War of the worlds on me) and I know its meant to be 3 Part, but when it ended I was just like. "Thats it?"

Yea recently they have been short, Medal of Honor Airborne for example can be finished in a single sitting.
