just enable AF, this game needs it bad. and PSU is not a f***ing MMORPG its a f***ing online rpg get it straight 6 player parties = not a MMO, the only part that is considered a MMO is the amount of ppl in each planet and guardian colony. I've been playing this game since release online. $9.99 isn't that bad at all its basically nothing.

The lighting effects on the weapons are just awesome! Some of the weapons are funny. You can wield dual light sabers and be a Jedi!

------------------------

On a different topic:

Don't expect to see an advance AI system in PSU like Final Fantasy XII Gambit System.

I find the PSU NPCs in your party downright retarded.

The PSU NPCs would sometimes get stuck between objects or go the wrong way (See the last two images below).

They won't attack unless your player is right next to the enemy. If you are too far away from your NPCs they won't even attack the enemy.

You can't give them commands to heal or attack specific targets.

That is probably why Sega gave fallen NPCs the ability to get up with full health after a short time.

I have many more images to come!

hm, the effects make up a bit for the not-so-stellar textures.

That's quite the scary gun you have there. Poke people in the eye with it?

The character creator in Phantasy Star Universe is the best I have seen in a RPG. Better than World of Warcraft.

While Elder Scrolls only allows you to change the face, you can change the whole body in Phantasy Star Universe. If you want you can create a fat character or a little girl with large boobs.

If you use your imagination you can create anime/video characters with this system.

Yeah creating a character its great hehe, I've been playing it online for a week, its really fun, and you can set loot to give them in order to party and all that stuff, to avoid pro looters and that crap. If anyone does play network mode send me a pm :P

If Sega wasn't charging $10 per month I would have jumped onto the network mode just like that.

Until somebody figure out how to create private servers, I will stay away from network mode.

With the install the game takes up 5 GB of space. With the patches and updates it can take up to 9 GB of hard disk space. A lot of the content is still locked though.

Doesn't impress so much, MGS substance take 7gb at full install. Seems that japanese developers take PCs as PS2 and harddrives for DVDs....

You can't but notice the Loli undertones in this game.

There's also the Partner Machinery (PM) which can be used to store your items and make weapons, armor and potions. You can level up your PM by feeling it like a Tamagotchi.

There are several transformation levels for your PM, but the final transformation is a little girl.

I have a question. Since this is the first time I try too I don't know how to, How do you look for private servers for a game? In google just like that and if nothing pops up then you just need wait longer?

Thank you

they're no private servers for PSU. one is in developmentm but won't be out for a long time. Also sega still makes money on this game so using a private server would be illegal if a company still makes money from it.
