INgame shot... Only one for now.. Can't really play the game until Gens fixes the messed up text boxes.. I am sure it will be fixed in no time.. The rest of the game is perfect..

Here is one of those gory scenes in Snatcher.. Definately not a game for kiddies.. I had time to play a little more of snatcher and its pretty good.. There is even mention in the game of a psx game we all know and love.. This game takes place in the future world of MGS.. Imagine that.. Something is even named Metal Gear in this game.. You can find what it is if you play the game..

I was wondering what were your settings on Gens? I tried to get Lunar: Silver Star to work, but I only get as far as the Lunar logo, then it freezes. Or it goes as far as the first screen of the conversation between Alex and Nall, then freezes. Thanks.

Ashtear, it sounds like you're trying to run it as an iso. Lunar will not work without it's audio tracks. Either that, or you burned it incorrectly somehow.

Actually, no, I have an original copy of Lunar: Silver Star.. I bought it back in it's time... but the Sega CD i had bit the dust quite a while ago.....

I've already played through snatcher completely, but there is a bug....however, there's a solution for it:

after the queen hospital part * i wont say more cause i dont like spoilers * the game locks up...here's why. during the sequence there cd audio track 21 (the last one on the cd) is played. After playing that track the game stops reading from the cd, EVEN if it's a ripped cd (ISO + mp3)

And now the solution: simply creat a 22nd audio track. It doesnt matter whats in it, as long as it's there, and the game will proceed.

that's all...

oh yeah, I also think snatcher and mgs have sorta overlapping storylines, but theres an error in it.
dr. petrovich dies in the original metal gear 2 (on msx2) ....if you played through snatcher, you'll know that's not right.

Is your CD scratched very badly?

You could try making an iso of the game and change the music tracks into mp3s.. I heard this makes the compatibility better.. All my games are in iso+mp3 format... Goto segaxstreme.. They have some good tutorials on making iso+mp3s..

No, the CD isn't scratched.. I went to extremes to protect both Lunar's, and Vay. I'm gonna try that ISO+MP3 deal, see if that'll do it. Where can I learn how to do that??
