Some shops have been selling it against Valve's and Vivendi's decision for almost a week now, problem is, people still can't play it since the retail version also needs to be unlocked online on november 16th.

isnt there any special DVD edition? 5 cds is crazy (so was 6 for Ut 04)

Only the collector's edition has HL2 on dvd I think.
