Uru: Ages Beyond Myst

I've just barely gotten started on this game, but here's a few of the shots I've taken so far:

The desert:

The place of falling leaves:

Oh, and I'm sitting on a mediocre 64MB GeForce4 MX 420, so there are some graphical options that are unavailable to me. I still think it turned out looking pretty nice, though.

Those pictures look awesome . I thought you were running something like a Radeon 9800 until I saw you say that you have a GF4 MX 420 .

Hmm, what type of game is it? It seems like it's one of the Myst games...(looking at the name)

Nice graphics!

The only Myst-like game I've played is Riddle of the Sphinx and it's pretty fun. I'll have to try one of the Myst games someday .

I have played Myst 1 and Myst III Exile. Number three is nice but very long and makes the whole consept boring. The graphics is nice though.

The first game is about collecting pages to some books to release your brothers. They have trapped your father in some odd place and (i don't remember how) they got trapped inside some books. You have to go around and pick up pages, and you must solve a riddle to get the page. Sometimes it's pretty hard, and takes a lot of time to solve. But in the end of the game... Those brothers traps you inside the books and rips out all the pages you worked for hours to collect!

Uru is a fun game. It's taken the original myst point and click adventure style and made it only slightly more dynamic. It's the first myst game where you can create your own avatar and that effect the storyline. The puzzles are much more diverse and oriented in the sense of riding things and draggin items and dropping them.

The game had a online portion which was a subscriber based. Which let people play through the game with help, theyre was also talks of added levels every few weeks. Now, due to the lack of subscriptions the servers were shut down and the levels are being released into addon packs. There are free supported fan server that ubisoft allows.

Riven starts where Myst 1 left off. A guy offers to send you back to your world if you help him find his long-lost love. Riven was the first game for the PC(as far as I know) to be available in DVD format. I only have the CD version but my uncle has the DVD version.

Uhm, WEXP, those two endings are the ones for the losers. I'll give you a hint:

Don't listen to the brothers.
