This game just ROCKS! Guilty Gear X puts the smack down on Capcom Street Fighter games. This is like controlling anime characters in an anime fighting series.

Re: Guilty Gear X PC (640 x 480)
GGX is one of my favorite fighters and the only fighting game I have on my hard drive. I hope GGX2 does come out for PC, I'm surprised at the lack of fighting games for PC. Capcom ports over a bunch of other games why don't they port over their best fighting games??

Re: Guilty Gear X PC (640 x 480)
think its cuz not everyone has gamepads (and even if they did, they're prolly crumby ones or they prolly don't wanna ruin their good ones) and because there are so many good fps and rts games for PC that they really don't wanna compete against. That and the fact that racing, fighting, and good rpg (:P) games are traditionally on console systems and play better on console systems.

Re: Guilty Gear X PC (640 x 480)
if so , then i should say that capcom isn't confident 'bout it's games . while i think they should compete pc games . and complete the RE series for pc (they stopped after survivor) |

Re: Guilty Gear X PC (640 x 480)
Well PC gamers have been spoiled by, well, PC games. They want good multiplayer support (over LAN or internet) as well as good (realistic) graphics and multi-sourced sound. Fighting games don't really offer too much of any of those things. Most good Capcom and SNK games only have two player mode on the local machine and are 2D, a big no-no for PC games (PC gamers nowadays demand nothing but 3D). RE is also single-player only and has pretty crappy graphics, compared to PC standards. They generally don't fare too well against the likes of PC games. Developers need to have good returns on investment (profits) and companies like Capcom generally do much better on arcade and consoles. Why port games to PC when there's only going to be minimal profits?

Re: Guilty Gear X PC (640 x 480)
The one reason I love X-Box is cuz of the ports it brings to the PC! Konami was smart enough to do the comparatively easy X-Box to PC ports for a fairly painless buck and it seems it's paid off for them as they're continuing the stream of ports. It seems Silent Hill 2 was popular enough on PC to warrant Silent Hill 3's port even before the X-Box. My guess is that they're putting out the PC version first to iron out bugs w/ patches and then put out the X-Box version for which code rigor is much higher as patches are almost impossible. Things may have flipped around to the point where a PC console port is a good indicator of an X-Box port.
