old game: Mobil1 Rally Championship

I post nothing but old games, but since most people here post new or even unreleased games, I just put a bit of warning in the title.

Mobil1 Rally Championship, is one of those games I have never even seen in store (except the Playstation version) until someone mentioned it on the net. Couple people here thinks it's the best, IIRC.

Here is a few shots from the replay video. Unfortunately all dust and gravels kicked up behind the car disappear from the game's snapshot (there is quite a lot). Next time I'll use Aldo's capture or something.

...I got that one the very day it was out.

It's one of my favorite rally games, along with Michelin - Rally Masters, and the Colin McRae series.

This game is still one of the best, if not THE best rally game there has been. Rally Trophy was a close second, and probly CMR3, and MSRC tied at third.

Rally Championship Xtreme is another good one IMO.

I still have the ancient Network Q RAC Rally Championship.
That was excellent in its day but is rather dated looking now.

ah, network q rac rally...yup, that was a nice game and a good alternative for the somewhat crappy pc port of sega rally 1 that was released at roughly the same time.

Although RC 2000 is one of my favourite games i didn't like at all RC Extreme..........they made it too arcade....damn and i was really looking forward to it
