too bad that nintendo just redoes all its old games and never really comes out with anything new and good....

neither does any other company, nowadays.
As a matter of my opinion, Nintendo puts more new gameplay elements in their sequels/remakes than most other companies do. I'm not gonna name names, but usually they just put up-to-date graphics, re-arrange the contents, and call it a sequel.
Which does not seem to be the case for this game. Mario Kart never had two characters on one vehicle

i still hope the gameplay will be good...
the last mario kart game was really pathetic, because it was sooo damn easy, even after years i can take the controller and finish every race on the hardest mode (which would probably be easy mode in every other game) on the first place.

Re: Mario Kart DD :)

Gameplay on th e3 version was sluggish , but as stated by various sites who where at the ToyTest this year it has been boosted to twice the speed and 150cc is too fast to start with , like it is supposed to be. As for the AI it's way improved charcthers in MK64 only used lightning and stars and dropped some bananas sometimes , but now they use everything they can. (played it at the Megafestatie so I can actually state this) as for the sound and all its superb but what did I expect else from Mario Kart , and gameplay is great (besides the slow version I played).
